13 Beginner Guide (I)

Jin Chen has spawned in the beginner ground, feeling nostalgia from the appearance of the game.

This is what the game he played before but the graphics here seem fine, but in the future it will become more realistic to the point that you could live your life playing in a game.

His Avatar Nero was now in the training ground. He directly went to the direction where he will get his first guide to move to the new area. "Where will that person be?" Before an arrow was shown, making him move to the direction where the arrow was pointing at.

In the distance he saw a man who looked familiar in the game, the man was wearing a traveler's attire with a sword on the side. Nero knew that the person was the one who would give him the quest for the game.

He then directly goes to the man, clicking the button for them to communicate.

"Welcome to Altersite Online, Dear Player. Today I'm your instructor Jairo, I will guide your way to become an astounding adventure." The NPC communicated with him, hearing the deep and mellow voice that came from its mouth.

"Thank you Instructor Jairo, Please guide me to become an adventurer." Nero responded before looking at his character who looked different from before.

Nero's arm was now covered with scales like a shell, Jin Chen doesn't understand what is happening to his avatar. He wanted to search for it online, but he couldn't because the game was just released today. Searching it will become troublesome which he doesn't like.

Xiao Liang was now looking at his brother, who was in the same area but got confused not to see him anywhere.

"Chen Ge, I can't see your character even though you are in the same area?" He was bewildered, and was replied to by Jin Chen directly.

"We are in the same area, but we are still in the beginner stage- Also everyone is starting here so they could learn how the game would work. Don't worry about this, later we will meet at the Region Area and we will start our adventure." He assured before focusing on his game once again. While a confused boy just shrugged before continuing playing.

However, in game they are both not seen because the Beginner Ground was only for the player and the instructor to teach them how to play the game.

"Today you will be learning to move around." Instructor Jairo mentioned nonchalantly

Jin Chen just sweat dropped, everyone knows how to move on the computer… The game doesn't need to tell them how to do it, but oh well they were doing it.

Instructor Jairo was now teaching him how to move around the game, using the keyboard WASD keys which everyone knows how to use. It was not a hard task but it was impractical.

Early in the game, he already has one of the game currency. Jin Chen was delighted about the situation beforehand. Even though the quest was easy, the reward was already big enough for him to get another weapon in the Premium Shop in the past.

Instructor Jairo then once again talks to him for another quest. "Now that you learnt how to move in any direction, it was your time to learn how to attack with your chosen weapon and skills."

Then a pop out appeared into him which made him choose a weapon to his liking. Those were a sword, magic book, dagger, bow, and a staff. Depending on their class they will receive the weapon that designated class they have earned.

In Jin Chen's part, who earned an unknown class, he was given a chance to pick a weapon to fight with.

"This is quite pressuring…" He thought of feeling sweaty over his body, he was nervous on what weapon he could choose. He could choose any weapon to his liking but what gave him fear was that he couldn't use any weapon anymore than the chosen weapon type that he got.

Jin Chen was now looking at his brother, who was now about to get his weapon. Then he directly asked with no hesitation.

"Xiao Liang, what weapon did you get?" He interrogated then suddenly he heard a quick reply from the young boy who was busy looking at his laptop. "What do you mean I got a weapon, I directly got a dagger because of my class?"

It made the man confused because he thought his brother had a rare class, but it turned out it was just a simple class that was added in the game.

"Oh never mind about it… I asked you because I got a choice to pick any weapon from the five of them." He stated before looking at his screen. Then he felt a sudden touch from his side to see Jin Liang who was now moving his body toward the laptop.

"Wow you really have tons of choice, Chen Ge- Pick anything you like that you like to use because it is quite limited." He thought before going back to his laptop directly playing and minding his own business.

Jin Chen gained a migraine thinking about the weapon he would choose, he now regretting getting a choice because now he realized that it was hard to choose a weapon to his liking.

He breathed in and out before inspecting the weapon type. What peak in his interest was the dagger and staff.

The staff was given to a powerful mage like character which gave them more mana, while dagger gave them haste which could help him move his way out of trouble. "What weapon should I choose?"

After thinking for a while, he then started to think about the past. If he could get an idea if they were a particular weapon that could help him and gain it in the future.

Then a bright light came into his head, which meant he knew what weapon he would choose. "I know what to get…" He murmured before picking the weapon that was quite mysterious that would be overpowered in the future.

"I'll choose the staff."
