25 Save the Crown

NightShade and Dro hearing each other's words looked between themselves. The girl took a deep breath and blew out the air which was gathered in her virtual lungs.

"Alright, let's do it your way, Dro" She decided to listen to Dro.

But Dro frowned looked at the NPC and narrowing his eyes he attacked using his skill, <Bood Spear>

She looked at him with surprise and then asked, "Why?"

He met with her gaze and spoke, "Well, I am always unlucky," He scratched his cheek.

She nodded her head as she looked at Dro, he looked at the corpse saw the corse glowing in slight colour, this represented a lootable body. He approached closer and bent over to loot. When the items appeared he showed a surprised expression.

<Quest item, Royal ring of Zandar>, but he couldn't pick up the item as roll interface appeared. The youths looked at each other, and they both pressed the roll button.

When he saw that he managed to roll more than NightShade he was shocked, this was the first time he won a roll against the girl, he laughed to himself when he saw the low roll numbers. He looked at her but she just shook her head and spoke, "Congratulations on getting that quest item."

The item appeared in his inventory a system message popped up,

Dro stared blankly as he didn't understand what possible use could a ring have, looking at it he just shook his head, "Let's go back to that old man"

She nodded her head, and inquired with a smile, "So what quest did you receive?"

"It was another choice quest actually." He answered honestly.

"Oh, that's cool."She really liked the idea of choices in games.

"Are you not going to ask me what the rewards are?" Dro was a little confused as to why she didn't ask him this.

"Nope" She simply spoke while shaking her head to the sides, this made her hair jump.

"Why?" He was curious to know her reason, as he found it strange that she didn't care about the reward.

"I don't need to know, I don't have that quest, and its impossible for me to receive it." She answered plainly. After this question they both headed out of the dungeon, they walked back to the old man behind the waterfall.

On the way back NightShade inquired, "So where is your pet?"

Dro just sighed and spoke, "Funny story, actually that little girl was a werewolf and I chose a talent tree, the system gave me an excuse that she broke out of my control."

NightShade nodded her head but she only said one word back, "Cool!"

"What do you mean by cool" He was stupefied by her reaction he didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

"But it is really cool, there is even such a thing that pets can run away from their masters, then what about hunters? If they are bad to their pets, they also run away?"

Dro just shrugged his shoulders, seeing this such thing she laughed lightly, "Well you are not a hunter, but if such thing happened to you. It could happen to others as well." She analyzed with a smiling face. Looking at her face, Dro at this moment though she looked really cute.

But he just sighed to himself and cast his emotions away. He took a step forward and faced the front.

In no time at all they returned to the man behind the waterfall, Dro approached him and spoke out, "We have done as you asked, we can now enter the castle."

"The man looked at them and spoke, "Good, good, good now we can enter the castle," Dro and NightShade could feel the man's excitement oozing out from him.

Getting the XP, he was now at a half point, he directed his gaze at the man who had a red quest marker above his head and inquired, "Tell us the next step," He asked while calmly looking at the man.

The man nodded his head and began, "Now that you know how to enter the castle unseen, enter through that passage find the king's brother and assassinate him. With that vile snake gone, everything will be fine again."

"Alright, we will do as you ask."

When NightShade saw the rewards flash on her screen, she couldn't hold her excitement as she shrieked, Dro looked back at the girl, when she saw that she was looked by Dro she simply coughed in her hand and spoke barely able to hold her excitement, "Shall we conquer this dungeon, Dro?"

Dro narrowed his eyes at the girl who was like a small child at an amusement park and inquired, "Are you sure you want just the two of us? This is a dungeon quest.

She looked back at him and spoke, "What are you saying the dungeon is <level 10>, while I am <level 12> and you are <level 15>, we can surely do it with just the two of us. Her eyes shined, Dro could see that she wasn't seeing clearly.

He shook his head and spoke, "You are being too greedy, we need people. I won't throw my life away for nothing, let's gather more people we will be safer that way."

These words shocked her back to reality as she nodded her showing agreement, "You are right, we need people. It is too dangerous with just two of us."

Dro nodded his head and spoke, "I know some people"

"Alright, I will leave the gathering of people to you then."

"Thanks," He opened up the menu, and opened the friend menu, from that menu he selected Pert's name and direct messaged the youth.

"Pert, do you want to go to a dungeon?"

He got his answer back in seconds, "What dungeon?"

"It's <level 10> dungeon" He sent back.

"Oh? Where is it located?"

"It's near Zandar, are you interested?"

He soon got a reply back, "Yes, how many spots are open?"

"It's three, we need a TANK a HEALER and a DPS"

"Alright, I will grab Kyoko and Rock, can you invite us?"

"Sure," After his last message he invited the three youths to their party, the current party consisted off a true blood Dracula, mage, hunter, warrior and a paladin.

When the three youths got into the party, they all exclaimed in shock when they saw NightShade's name.

"That name, are you really her?!"
