The GM said in a panicky tone, "Player, you can't."

Rao Wei retorted, "Try me!"

The voice quieted down for a moment before replying, "Player we can allow you to roll a random race one more time."

Rao Wei frowned and said, "Just let me choose the race I want. Is that too much to ask?"

"Player you can't. Races can only be randomised."

Rao Wei sighed and said, "Fine, randomise my race."

"I believe you have no more complaints, player."

"What is this race?"

"This race is also a very low chance of selection."

Rao Wei shook her head, "I am not asking about the rarity what are the physical features of the race."

"It's a race of human and a wolf. A werewolf race."

Rao Wei shook her head, "Redo!"

"Player please."

"Redo!"

"Player!"

"Redo!"

"Redo!"

"Why you don't want this race player?"

"The name sounds cliche, redo!"

"Redo!"

"Why is this race bad?"

"I know what Cambions are, I have read up on the on the internet. They are demons that are born from an incubus or a succubus mating with a human. Why would I want to play a race like that, redo!"

"Player?" The GM asked after not hearing anything from the picky Rao Wei for two breaths of time.

Rao Wei nodded her head in acknowledgement and said, "This is acceptable."

The GM sighed with relief and said, "If that is all player?"

"Is there no more RNG in the character creation?" Rao Wei asked.

"No there is not." Reassured the GM.

Rao Wei nodded her head, "If that is true you can leave."

"I wish you happy playing!" The GM's voice faded and a message flashed,

Rao Wei looked at the three options and frowned. She thought, "I am not going to become anyone's anything. There is only one option for me here."

Rao Wei extended her hand and clicked, <Fallen Valkyrie>

The surroundings changed and she was in a new location. After she appeared in this zone a few system messages followed,

"Why did the quest I received say my level would be reduced to <Level 1> and why do I feel like there is something on my back?" Valeif thought and she turned her head. She saw a black pair of wings on her back.

Valeif frowned and thought, "So, in the end, I am still a freak."

"Why couldn't they just give me a normal race without any deformities or any stupid accessories. I don't think that these wings actually allow me to fly." She sighed and shook her head.

Valeif didn't even try to move her wings. The girl took a single step forward and she immediately stumbled. Rao Wei expected to fall head first but she dumbstruck when she realised that she floated above the ground. She saw the shadow of her wings on the ground. She first stood up on her feet then glanced at her wings and thought, "They allowed me to levitate? Don't tell me I can actually fly with those things?"

"Let's try it," Thought Valeif.

She closed her eyes and she tried to concentrate on the wings. In just a moment the wings flapped and the girl rose slightly above the ground. Valeif smiled and mumbled, "So I can actually fly?"

She laughed out loud and shouted at top of her lungs, "Virtual reality is awesome!"

The shout alerted the monsters that were in the area they quickly appeared before her.

"Mhm?" Valeif looked at the two monsters that appeared before her. When the monsters appeared Valeif only looked at their level and nothing more.

Valeif thought, "Level 456? What?"

The two hounds pounced at the girl at the same time. She reacted and moved her hand swiftly, the two monsters got hit by a wave of the hand a message flashed,

Valeif stared at the corpses of the two monsters of an absurd level and blinked her eyes. She thought, "I killed them with a wave of my hand? What level am I even?"

She clenched her fist and opened the character window,

As she was looking at her stats wide-eyed, a cold wind blew past her and her body shook. The girl thought, "Why is it so cold?" She looked down and saw that she was wearing only a bra and panties. She stared at only two pieces of clothing in shock.

She shouted loudly, "Why am I only wearing underwear!"

With the shout, three more <Hel Hound, Level 456> appeared. Valeif frowned and slapped the three hounds across their snouts.

The girl clenched her fist and opened the equipment window. Her eyes widened and she saw that she had no items equipped even the weapon was missing. She looked down at her appearance one more time and she cursed loudly, "What the hell! I can't walk around with only my underwear!"

The wind once again blew past the girl and her body shook from the cold. Valeif frowned and thought, "I need clothes!"

Valeif looked around at her surroundings. She saw cracked ground under her feet. On her left was a lake, by the lake there was a boat and from the lake, some kind of hands would emerge every few moments. In the distance, there were stairs that led upwards and on the right, there was a path.

Valeif frowned and thought, "First I need clothes anything else can wait. There are three paths I can take. The boat to the left, the stairs ahead or the path to the right."

Valeif smirked and thought, "Time to do this like I do with every decision I face. Leave it to chance!"

"I wonder" She mumbled.

The girl reached out to her feathers and plucked out one. The girl nodded and threw the feather into the air. When the feather was airborne, the wind blew the feather. The feather floated towards the direction of the lake. Valeif smirked and mumbled, "And my choice is made is clear."
