The boss lost another 8,000 health, and its health was already reduced by 20%, Kyoko used her heal on Dro, as she saw he wasn't using his healing abilities, as for Pert he was still in shock, he couldn't believe that his good friend has just died like that.

The Rat Louis squealed as he got on all fours and ran away, only at this moment Dro noticed a well, the rat jumped into this well. And a moment later rats started jumping from that hole. They all were not targetable, as their eyes were red and they twitched but one thing that puzzled Dro was that their health kept dropping by the second. The two rats that appeared dashed towards their group,

With each second it would lose health, Dro frowned as he yelled, "Don't touch these rats." Kyoko and NightShade nodded their heads, as they ran away when the rat ran toward them. The other rat ran towards Pert. The man was still in disbelief and he didn't listen to Dro's words. The little rat approached him and when it's health reduced to zero. It suddenly exploded, the explosion rang out and it died. But Pert that was near the explosion, and a notification appeared for all the youths.

Dro sighed a relief, "Kyoko heal Pert through it."

"I am on it, Dro!" She responded with a yell.

But when they saw the damage that ticked on the youth they were all shocked,

If Pert wanted to live he needed to survive nine more ticks but Pert's health as a mage was only 480. Kyoko had only two seconds to heal 400 points of damage, if she didn't Pert would die.

After the little rats exploded the boss returned back to the room, and he had full energy, it had already readied its blade in his hand.

Dro didn't care about the weapon, but he still first launched an attack,

When Kyoko saw this she sighed with relief, she also was trying to heal Pert at this moment. But when the tick was only one second away she cast her holy light on him, but it only brought him to 395 HP.

The Rat King squealed and roared, "Yoooou dare tooooo challenge mmeeee, now dieeee."

Dro narrowed his eyes, he slashed and NightShade continued firing her weapon,

His attack was now empowered by his Dracula passive, he gained 15% more damage from 60% spent blood which was further increased by 5% which he got from his talents points, and on top of that, he managed to score another critical strike. And critical strikes were easier thanks to another passive, which increased critical strike chance by 30%.

The boss drew his crossbow and aimed at Kyoko who was standing the farthest away and fired

Dro roared at the girl, "DODGE!"

She was a former pro so she reacted to his voice, she jumped to the side managing to dodge the ability. Seeing this, Dro just sighed with relief. While NightShade glanced at the girl and spoke, "You are better than your two friends at least."

Kyoko wanted to rebuke but she didn't, she just looked at the boss. She slowly got up, her senses as a gaming pro finally kicked in. She didn't view this boss an NPC anymore, she looked at it like at another player. Unlike her two friends that bragged to be Pros they weren't actually pros they were just subs for a pro team.

Dro looked away from Kyoko as he turned his gaze at the boss, extended his hand and used a skill,

The boss losing another 20% health, started summoning the little rats, those rats ran at the youths. But they didn't touch or even come close to them. When NightShade saw how Kyoko was she just spoke softly, "Not bad."

After the little rats disappeared, Dro looked at the boss and used all his skills, he wanted to finish the boss now.

Kyoko finally sighed with relief, the first thing she did was look over her friend's dead bodies, she sighed and looked with a sad expression, she wanted to cry. But she didn't, she knew that she had to be strong because this was just the beginning of this game.

Dro walked over to the corpse of the boss and he tried to loot it, and when he did 3 items had dropped.
