29 Leaving the Canals

Three items appeared before the group's eyes when he saw the last item that dropped Dro cracked a smile.

Dro spoke, "Do you mind If I take the weapon?"

Kyoko shook her head and spoke, "Let's do this since three of us are left, let's just take one item each, without rolling, I will take the boots, NightShade the crossbow and let Dor get the sword, what do you think?"

NightShade nodded her head, "We are all getting one item each, alright"

Dro also nodded his head, and they all needed and passed on the items, After having the item in his inventory, Dro looked at his group and spoke, "I am going to identify this, wait for me"

Kyoko tilted her head in confusion, "You are going back into the city? Won't it take too long?"

NightShade also nodded her head.

Dro laughed as he explained, "It's not like that, I will be back soon."

When the girls saw the gate of blood, they both looked at Dro, and he explained, "This is my skill, I can go back to Vampire zone as I please."

"Alright we will wait for you" NightShade answered for both her and Kyoko.

Kyoko nodded her head, agreeing with NightShade.

Dro walked through the gate, he saw Erylis before him, he cleared his throat and began, "Hello your majesty, can you please identify this item for me."

She nodded her head and took the weapon from Dro's hands she looked at this vampire and spoke, "I can see your progress fifth, You are doing the good work but, even though you are making good progress, you still haven't returned me the head of my brother's man in <Dark Woods>"

Saying these words she returned the weapon back, Dro replied, "I will do the task you have asked of me."

"Farewell, Dro my fifth progenitor."

He nodded and went through the blood gate. After leaving the Vampire Capital he finally looked at the weapon that was identified for him, he smiled upon seeing the stats of the weapon.

<Rare, Rat King's precious, 1H Sword Reinforced +10, Damage 15-19, Strength +10, Agility +21, Level 10>. He smiled and he grinned then broke into a smile not before long the smile turned into laughter.

Two girls looked at him and inquired, "It is that good?"

"Let's go I will show you how good it is," He said with a clear smile visible on his face. Dro looked up front and saw the ladder, he approached it and looked up, in the distance above he saw an entry to another room. He spoke, "Let's continue, we still need to kill the king's brother,"

The girls followed after Dro, as he ascended the ladder. The one behind dro was NightShade followed by Kyoko. After ascending the ladder Dro looked around the new room, it had walls made of stone and it looked like a back room of some sorts. Dro walked a little farther and he saw a door. Opening it up, he saw that they were in the yard. The moment he stepped into the yard a new notification message appeared.

Dro and his party had now reached a new dungeon area, the area was mostly clean. There was only one monster there and the monster intself stood near the entrance to the palace. Dro looked at the monster and he immediately found that this monster was a boss. They now had to face a new boss.

Kyoko narrowed her eyes when she saw the boss, she looked at Dro and inquired, "Are you sure about this?"

NightShade grinned as she asked, "Getting cold feet?"

Kyoko ignored NightShade as she just looked at Dro and waited for his answer. Dro inspected the boss, he had more health than the rat boss, he had a shield and a sword. The boss was also wearing a full set of plate armour. The boss didn't have any extra resource bars.

Dro took a deep breath and spoke, "Let's do it,"

Immediately using a skill,

Dro's first hit had managed to hit for more than eight thousand damage points, the damage shocked the girls as they saw that this wasn't even a critical strike. The boss turned to the group and roared, "You dare invade the royal palace? You will pay with your lives for this transgression."

Following his words the boss slashed towards Dro, when the boss was attacking NightShade didn't stay idle as she launched a barrage of attacks as well,

The boss managed to critically strike Dro, seeing this he wasn't scared, he calmly used his healing skill. Dro was confident enough to beat the boss as long as he wasn't killed in just a single strike.

The heal healed him to full health, Dro was starting to believe this single skill was too broken to have. Dro was at full, health. He now launched another skill

This attack was a very huge one it managed to do more than 20% of bosses max health in a single strike. The boss bellowed, "Do you realise what you are doing? I am the royal guard of his majesty, you will all pay for committing such a crime."

the boss bellowed, "Royal guards of his majesty, come to my aid and defeat these vile foes"

Following the shout, four extra enemies entered the stage. They were all guards and they all had 20,000 Health each. Every single extra enemy turned their attention to Dro and they charged him together, they all were the same as the boss, they all had shields and one-handed swords.
