Descending Into The Burrows

Dro took a bold step forward, he walked towards the burrow that was in front of him, He didn't care about the elves, he just had a bad feeling. Because of this bad feeling, he stepped forward as he attempted to enter the burrows. He was worried that his pet was taking this long, Dro already though about Reiya as his companion and not a pet.

The elves that saw him moving toward their burrows shouted out, "Stop right there! You are not allowed to go in, take another step and we will take you down!"

The youth didn't care about the elves he just took a step forward once more, the elves got angered by this action as one of the rushed towards Dro, the youth saw this attack. He turned around immediately and drawing his sword he struck down the elf that attacked him. When the others saw their companion die in seconds, they all shouted as they attacked Dro.

Dro snorted and used a skill <Blood Explosion>

With the use of the skill all the elves in the vicinity died. The other Elves that were not in the range of the explosion just took a step back. Dro stopped and spoke, "If you attack, I will kill you, don't move and you live!" With these words said he once again walked down into the burrow. The other elves didn't dare to stop him, they saw what happened just a moment ago, they didn't want to become one of the dead.

The youth walked into the burrow's entrance, the pathway was only one and it led downwards, the walls of this place were made of the tree, to be more specific the youth walked down to the roots of the tree. This burrow was in the tree itself.

The youth walked down this path, as he walked the path he met no other living life form, the youth just kept advancing further and further. He kept advancing up until the path opened up and a larger area was in the distance when the youth stepped into this larger area he was dumbfounded by what he saw in the distance. He narrowed his eyes as he looked at the scene, his killing intent rose.

A Vampire Elf girl was laying on the ground, her eyes were closed as she was knocked out, the man was standing pointing his opened hand at her and he was mumbling some kind of words, around the girl green wind rotated.

Dro didn't wait for anything he rushed to the scene, he shouted at the man, "What the hell are you doing?!"

The man got alerted by the presence of the man, he glanced at the shout's direction. When the man saw Dro, he furrowed his brows, he inquired, "How are you here? Where are my men?"

Dro didn't answer his question instead he coldly asked, "What are you doing, to her?"

"I am curing her of your vile curse after I am done with her, she will return back to normal. How could I let a royal princess be a Vampire."

Dro was surprised to hear that the Reiya was a princess but he didn't care he just looked at the man, he narrowed his eyes and spoke, "Death awaits Elf!"

The man furrowed his brows, he knew he couldn't move from his location, he knew he had to cast this spell without interruption. With his other hand, he weaved signs in the air. And monsters started appearing around Dro. He looked around and sneered, <Blood Explosion> Before the beasts could be formed they all died immediately, the <Blood Explosion> skill also touched the elf and he received damage.

The moment he received the damage, the girl that laid on the ground opened her eyes she slowly stood up and with her hazy eyes looked at her surroundings. She looked at Dro and spoke, "Master why are you here?"

She touched her head and her recent memories came back, she then looked at the elf and furrowed her brows. Dro looked coldly at the elf and spoke, "Any last words before I kill you?"

The words made Reiya snap her sight to him she spoke, "Is that necessary master?" She was not pleased with Dro's words.

"He pulled an underhanded trick and he tried brainwashing you, tell me why should I let him go?"

The girl shuddered as she looked at the elf, "Why did you do it?"

"You are of noble blood, I wanted to purge you from the curse of being a vile beast." He spoke with resoluteness in his voice.

Dro didn't wait for any more words he used a skill and launched it at the elf, <Blood Spear>

The elf died in a single strike, Dro looked at Reiya and spoke, "Take the branch, we are leaving. The sooner the better."

He sighed with relief when he found out that he didn't lose any favourability points with the girl, she extended her hands as she picked split the branch from a root by her feet. She looked up at Dro and spoke, "Here you go, master."

Dro took the branch from other hand and a notification sounded,

<Branch Of Ancient Tree 1/1>

Dro looked at the girl and spoke, "We are done here, we can leave."

She looked at Dro and nodded her head, "Yes, let's leave"

Dro smiled and he cast his spell, <Blood Gate>

The two went through the gate and they were teleported to Erylis castle. Dro faced at Erylis and have her all the reagents speaking, "I have the items."

She nodded her head as she took the items, "Good we can begin the ritual"

He received the experience but he still was short of 5,000,000 XP, Dro looked at Erylis, he waited for her to give him another Quest. Erylis spoke, Dro, come with me. Dro nodded as he looked at Reiya and spoke, "Wait here, I will be back soon."

She bowed and spoke, "As you wish, master," In front of Erylis this Vampire Elf acted the way she was supposed to act. The Queen and her progenitor departed. Erylis led Dro deeper into the castle, this was Dro's first time going further inside.
