91 Another King

When the werewolf fell to the ground Dro took a deep breath and mumbled, "It's over." Dro closed his eyes and he recalled the battle he had. Dro realised that because he was not careful he almost died. "I need to be aware of my surroundings all the time" Thought Dro.

Dro's eyes turned to Reiya and he asked, "What was that skill did you use?" She smiled, "I learned the skill not too long ago it's <Mana shield>" Dro frowned and swiped open the menu. From the menu, the youth accessed his pet menu and selecting Reiya. Her skills appeared before him. In addition to her <Arcane Blast> and <Mana Transformation> there were few more skills and between those skills was <Mana Shield>. Eyes of Dro changed to shock he thought, "She had two extra skills and she didn't use them?" Dro first accessed <Mana Shield> and an explanation appeared,

<Mana Shield. Toggle Ability, Drain's Mana Instead of Health> When he read this description Dro gulped down his saliva because he realised what this meant. Reiya as an awakened race had infinite mana and this ability drained mana instead of health. Dro realised that by using this ability Reiya would become unkillable in combat.

"What other abilities does she has? "Dro thought to himself as he opened them one by one. The first ability was <Arcane Power, Increase Damage Done by 100%> Dro frowned again and thought, "Why didn't she use this? The bosses would have died much faster with this. Dro had closed off his menu and looked a Reiya, "Why didn't you use <Mana Shield> and <Arcane Power>?"

She looked at Dro, "I didn't want you to use me as a shield." Dro narrowed his eyes and sighed, "I understand. But from now on always use the <Mana Shield>. She looked at him, "So you won't protect me anymore?" Dro shook his head, "You have mana shield." She sighed, "I should have just let that werewolf kill me. I like when master protects me." Dro narrowed his eyes at his companion, "So you want me to risk my life and protect you when you have invincibility shield?" She shook her head, "I don't want you to die. I just want you to protect me like before."

"You are being unreasonable, Reiya." She sighed, "I understand. Master doesn't have to protect me or anything like that. Master should just worry about himself and be selfish."

"Now I feel guilty," Dro thought. He looked at her and said, "Good that you understand."

"What about <Arcane Power> why didn't you use it?"

"Master already does less damage than me when I am using <Mana Transformation> I was afraid that by increasing my damage even further master would get depressed. You see my mother told me that men are arrogant and women shouldn't shatter what little self-esteem they have."

Dro's eyes opened wide and he stared at her shocked, "Don't worry about that and do as much damage as you can." Reiya stared at Dro, "Are you sure? You won't hate me?" Dro shook his head, "I won't hate you." Reiya smiled widely, "Thank you, Dro."

"I should loot the body," Dro walked up to the corpse of the fallen werewolf that was not yet looted. Dro bent down and items appeared before him. Like all the kings he dropped his own head and he picked it up a quest was given to return the head to Erylis. Besides the head, Dro saw two more items. Without hesitation, Dro picked up the two items,

"Let's go, Reiya" She nodded her head and walked up to Dro, "Use your mana shield." She frowned her brows, "There are no enemies here." Dro sighed, "We were almost killed a few moments ago. We are in enemy territory use your shield." She nodded her head and a layer or arcane energy formed around her, "Shall we go, Dro?" The youth nodded, "Let's go."

The werewolves that waited for them watched every single step of the Vampire pair. Each and every one of the hoped that they would enter their territory. They felt nothing when they saw one of their kings fall. The only thing the kings wanted was to fight the two. When the werewolves saw when Dro walked to one of the werewolves grinned, "That's right come to me."

When Dro took a step into his territory he smirked and jump in front of Dro. Unlike the last werewolf king, he didn't sneak attack. Dro and Reiya saw how a werewolf king appeared before them. The werewolf king spoke, "Did you two really kill Crowrey?" Dro looked at this werewolf that now stood before them,

"We did," Dro replied to the werewolf that now stood before them. The wolf frowned and thought, "So the old injuries he suffered when fighting the Vampire King were still not healed completely." A tear fell down the werewolf's face as he thought, "I will avenge you, my old friend."

Dro seeing a tear fell from the werewolf's face frowned he looked at him, "Reiya, I want to see just how strong you really are. I will not interfere in this fight." Reiya shrugged her shoulders, "Alright master."

When the werewolf saw that the one that walked out was the girl and the man walked back he frowned, "I will fight both of you not one at a time." Dro looked at this werewolf and spoke, "She is enough for you." The werewolf king was angered he howled, "You dare look down on me."

Reiya activated everything and started combat,

Reiya not waiting for anything started casting the same spell again. The werewolf that lost so much health at the same time subconsciously took a step back. This hesitation gave Reiya's second cast enough time to complete,

When this attack landed all the werewolf's notions of fighting disappeared he turned back and tried to flee but it was too late as Reiya's third arcane blast already flew at him.

"All the hits were over twenty million damage how is that possible?" Dro looked at Reiya in shock. She looked at him, "You don't hate me, master?" Dro shook his head, "I don't hate you rather I am really happy." She smiled and asked, "Really?"
