2 chapter 2: Dante and Lola

In the choatic era where savage beasts occupy the surface and humans live underneath. a child who grow up in the street.

He called him dante and he had a sister or to say he had adopted a sister and looked after her she was called lola who was abandoned because of her weak and sick body. Dante was 14 this year and lola was 8. dante does all kind of mud job to feed him and his sister. basically he picks ores and coal and sells them. Tommorow was a special day where many humans visit the surface above, to deal with few weak savage beasts and get some herbs.

so dante visited the person called uncle yun who buys stuff from him and asked, heyy uncle yun what do think about tommorow. will u think we will get many good stuff. he replied softly I dont think so because the savage beasts are scary but I heard that these savage beasts protect some herbs which might cure certain diseases. as dante heard this news was elated because his sister had a weak body and always remains sick. if he could treat her what else would he need. so he directly asked uncle Yun. can u bring me with u tommorow. uncle yun replied blankly, definitely not if cant do anything the savage beasts are scary and cruel the can kill u as eash as lifting a finger so dont talk about it to me again. dante's face dropped

uncle yun had a flash of thought remembering about dante's sister he again said with a smile you dont have to worry too-much. I know what you are thinking of if I could find some herbs .I will definitely bring it for your sister, then he again put down a straight face and said consider this a favour I am giving u for all the selling stuff only to me, hearing this dante had a happy glow on his face after selling the stuff (coal and other) he came here to sell buying food he returned to his home.

Hey lola I am home , brother bought some good news today. tommorow people will start going to surface again this year and I heard that there are some herbs on surface which could treat diseases. I requested uncle yun for it and he happily requested that he will bring one set for you.

hearing this lola who was on bed with a dim face had her eyes filled with life once again.

brother really?, please dont just something to make me happy before I leave you even though I am fated to die someday soon. having a brother is already something that I am happy of u dont have to lie to me..

dante replied with a smile on his face come have food now how could i bear to lie to my sweet sister.

they both had there full and went to bed

the next day before uncle yun departed dante reached him and remainded him about herb once again begging him he will do anything..

hey boy.. come here uncle yun patted his head and said dont worry even though this old man is slow I am certain to atleast find one herb.

even if I find one I will give to you.

so dont worry

uncle yun directly left the place and headed towards the group of people who will be deployed to go towards the surface...

dante returned to his daily routine to pick some minerals and ores.. and then returned to his home at night

lola was happy that her illness would be cured in a day or two. she happily chatted with his brother. and both went to there bed. as she slept she started to think about the first time day met when she was just 5 who was lying inside a tree bark scared by people around her think about a person who she accidentally met that day would take care her so much. she was happy

where as dante's feelings were much complex dante was happy that he had a family , that he had a sister to take care of...

dante didn't even know who his parent were, even if they are alive or not he had no memory of anything before he was 5 he didnt know anything all he knew was his name was dante. when he saw this girl who was abandoned just like him he wanted to take care her. he did what he want.

night went by..

early in the morning dant woke up after preparing breakfast he took all the ores he collected yesterday to uncle yun's shop with excitement. when he reached there was blank expression on his face. uncle yun has not returned what should I do now what should I say to lola

he consoled himself again and with a smile on his face he went back to his home.

lola asked him, brother what did uncle yun say..

her eyes were sparkling. he looked at her and said that uncle yun has not yet returned.. but don't worry maybe he got more work to do he will definitely return. with a smile he said dont worry I know uncle yun he may be strict but really helps me out all the time.

he will definitely get u a herb to cure your illiness

After being consoled she went to her bed
