3 Pets

One saturday morning, inside Kazaguruma Apartments...

"I caught Shin watching hentai again in his room." Gab said aloud as she laid on the couch, watching TV.

"It's research." Shin countered casually as he read a book while laying on the floor, stomach faced up.

"Research your ass. You're clearly just a degenerate disgusting piece of shit fapping to animations." Gab refuted him.

"Now that I think about it, if I'm an anime character watching porn, would the porn be considered hentai? Because the porn is drawn and is in 2D, it should be hentai." Shin put down his book for a second to contemplate his own question.

"Welp, who cares?" He picked up his book again.

Raphiel walked towards them, tray with cookies and glass of juice in hand. She put it down on the coffee table, just beside Shin.

"Have some snacks." Raphiel smiled at them, looking like an angel. Well, she's literally an angel. An archangel in fact.

"Thanks." Shin used telekinesis to bring a cookie towards his face as he read his book.

Gab grabbed one and ate it silently. Raphiel just sat there, watching the TV with a slight smile everpresent in her face.

The door of the living room opened and Artoria, wearing casual clothes entered with Gil behind her, looking like a servant.

"Yo." Shin waved at them without taking his eyes of the book.

"Why are the two of you always staying in Raphiel's apartment?" Artoria asked them as she sat on the unoccupied space on the couch.

"Her room is spacious. Mine is not." Shin answered.

"Heh! Despite having so much power, you're still having problems making your apartment clean." Gilgamesh who sat on the floor mocked him.

"Said the guy who have his apartment walls full of someones pictures and noble phantasms." Shin countered as he drank the juice that magically flew towards his mouth.

"Said the guy who have his apartment full of portals to other dimensions." Gab sneered at Shin.

"Said the girl who had her apartment full of trash." Shin refuted back as he ate a cookie.

As they mocked each other, the anime Gab is watching played its ED.

"You're still watching pokemon?" Shin asked Gab.

"It would be better if pokemons are real. So I can beat the crap out of those annoting humans." Gab wiped her mouth with her pink hoodie's sleeves.

"That kid called Ash did not fucking age for 20 years. His aging process is even slower than an angel." She continued.

Shin closed his book and put it inside a gap in the void that appeared in front of him. The book went inside and the gap disappeared.

"How about making real-life pokemons?" Shin asked.

"It'll be fun!" Raphiel put her hand together, imagining it.

Inside Shin's mind, he is imagining a world full of destruction and disorder with wars being declared here and there and using pokemons as national weapons.

"Nah." Shin decided it's too troublesome to live a laidback life in that kind of world. He can go to other planets but he grew in this world.

"How about creating our own pets to guard the apartment when we're all gone to somewhere?" Artoria suggested.

Shin and the others thought about it and agreed. Although the apartment is filled with automatic defensive mechanism, covered with barriers, and can withstand a hypernova, having a pet can relieve stress.

"That's a good idea. I want to have an ancient dragon so I can bully those angels." Gab spoke first.

"I want a pegasus! They look so adorable." Raphiel spoke. Although she might be actually refering to ponies, what is the diference between them and a pegasus except for the horn?

"I suppose I would want a horse. Moving with armor on for a year straight hurta my legs. Having a horse is convenient." Artoria pondered for a while before answering.

"No need to wait! I will get you the mightiest and greatest horse that ever existed in this land!" Gil decided to boast.

"I think about having a giant frog is kinda cool." Shin said his thought aloud.

Hearing those words, Raphiel shuddered. With her smile still on her face and a little bit of sweat, she moved towards Shin.

"Frogs are annoying you know. They jump everywhere with their slimy body. They also eat dirty flies and is probably poisonous too. Frogs are really annoying." She tried to persuade him out of it. Obviously, she fears frogs.

"A phoenix is way more cooler though. So a phoenix it is." Shin considered for a second and picked.

"How about you, Gil?" He asked.

"Heh! You think I will accept your offer? Pets are nothing more than a nuisance to me! If I deciddd to have one, I will have one befitting my greatness!" Gil boasted, again.

"Just answer it." Artoria smacked him in the back of his head.

"I want a turtle." Gil answered meekly.

Shin nodded and stood up.

The others seemed to know what he is going to do and also stood up.

Shin flicked his hand and the sorroundings warped and changed into a vast plains. Nothing other than grass and clouds can be seen. No sun is in the sky but it is bright.

"Let's start with Gab first." He spoke as he pointed his palm in front of him.

"What color do you want?" He asked.

"Just give me something that can scare angels." Gab answered as she hid from the light with Raphiel's shadow.

Shin nodded and focused. On the space in front of his hand, black and red mist appeared and swirled. The two mist mixed and spun in a wide circle. The mist got more and more condensed until it eventually became a giant sphere of mist, hiding what is inside.

With a wave of Shin's hand, the mist faded, revealing what is inside. A creature not smaller than a building, standing 4 meters tall and 10 meters long, black crystal-like skin and red menacing eyes. Four crimson horns potruding from the sides of its forehead, dark crimson spikes potruding from the back of its head towards its spine ending at its tail.

The creature opened its wide black wings with crimson dots as it let out a deafening roar. After the sound died down, the creature, obviously a dragon, spoke.

"Are you my father?" It asked with a loli voice.
