Time

My wolf says nothing. Does nothing. From what Teo had told me, I would expect something. Anything. But I feel no reaction whatsoever and I worry just how broken I am.

His words echo through my head, but I'm finding it difficult to grasp any semblance of a response or to form a complete thought. I reach out grabbing him by the neck and pulling his lips towards me in an all-consuming kiss that sets my soul aflame once again.

My worries are quieted when our lips collide and I am settled by his warmth. I am grounded by his embrace, comforted by his touch.

At least in this, I am sure.

His hands sweep around the back of my legs, lifting me as he does, and my legs wrap around his waist without breaking our kiss. I run my fingers through his hair and angle my head to deepen the kiss, and his lips easily match mine with skill that's overriding my senses. He starts to walk slowly backward and I am laid down on my back when we reach the couch.
