88 Asking the impossible

Pitch black in color, each thick and shimmering scale of the snake is as large as my head. It's body extends so far it looks longer than a bus, and its body...its body is wider than the length of my arm.

My gaze follows along its neck to its head that is poised high above the ground, and in the corner of my eye I see the point of its tail flick behind it.

Fog starts to roll over the top of the ravine and tendrils reach out from the mist like fingers crawling on the ground. It moves closer down the rocks and begins to fill in the air around us.

I have to lean my head back head as my eyes continue to travel up towards its head, a head that is wider than the rest of it. It could easily swallow me whole.
