21 Chapter Twenty-One

(Warning! Blood and Gore are in this chapter!)

[P.O.V. Zyston Woods]

Before Alpha Theo could rip my throat out, a burst of small orange energy came off my body. Knocking Alpha Theo and Beta Mitch off me.

My body starts to shift in ways it never has before. Still in my wolf body, Stryker dragon horns upon my head. His dragon spikes show along my back on my elbows, claws grew bigger and sharper, and my body grew in size. No longer standing on four paws but my back legs almost standing like a human. My canine teeth and my dragon fangs combined. Yelling as my body shifts into this form.

"What happening?" asking my beast's.

"When our souls all become one are true hybrid form shows," Stryker says.

"We all agreed we didn't want to die." Travis also pipes in.

Standing up on my back legs with that same red energy radiating off my body. Looking around, everyone looked stunned and amazed. My attention is going back to Alpha Theo and Beta Mitch. Their look was a whole different level of shock.

Letting out an animalistic growl and roar, then attacking Alpha Theo and Beta Mitch. All three of us ripping and clawing at each other. The snow was no longer white but now white with painted red splatters. From the blood that was left are bodies.

Just like a dandy lion head being pop off. Slamming Beta Mitch with my front like-hand. Into the ground hard as I could around his neck, his head came off his body. Looking at Alpha Theo, he slowly backed away from me, trembling a little. Voices could be heard coming from the pack doubting their Alpha.

Alpha Theo looked like he was ready to run away, but before he could. Moving fast and pouncing on top of him, grabbing him by the throat, holding him above me. Our eyes staring back at each other, I could see coal-burning orange dragon-like eyes with tiny rings of green, blue, and gold around the pupil reflecting at us. Showing the eyes of my hybrid form.

Using my other like-hand grabbing his hip. The other no longer around his throat but on his chest. Just tearing him right in half, letting his screams fill the night air. Dropping his body to the ground, my body changes back to human form, making me collapse. Tired from that shift and from all the energy it takes to be in that form. A woman with dirty blonde hair and green emerald eyes. Kneel before me, looking at me with tears rolling down her cheeks.

"Please, don't cry, Mother." Wiping the tears with my thumb, she sobs harder, pulling me in a tight hug.

"I thought I lost you Zyston, was terrified seeing you laying in that bloody snow... " Looking straight into each other eyes. "I'm so proud of you standing up for your family and pack. Even when you knew it risked your own life. That my son is a true leader to put his family and pack before him, Not just of a leader but of a King." Mother says proudly.

After hearing those words, my heart melted a little. Mother a strong woman, the kind that doesn't show her emotions much. Looking over my Mother's shoulder, one of the Pack Elder's walked up to me.

"We need to do the Alpha Ceremony now." Elder Thomas says.

"No, sir, I didn't really do it for the title. I just wanted my pack and family to be free from Alpha Theo abusive ways... I'm not even old enough to be Alpha. Please pick someone worthy." Telling him, he smiles and chuckles at me.

"Young man, the whole pack, and I want you as our Alpha. We respect the power of your true form. Not only that, we all see a better leader in you than Alpha Theo. Your age doesn't matter to us. We all will guide you in your new position. What do you say, Zyston?" Holding out his hand to me, looking at everyone, they encouraged me to take the title and position. What encouraged me the most was my Mother's approval. Agreeing to become Alpha, everyone cheered.

Elder Thomas went to Alpha Theo body, getting some blood on his fingers. Coming back to me, drawing the symbol of the Alphas on my forehead.

"Rise Zyston." Standing up, looking at the pack, as Elder Thomas spoke. "Blood of the previous Alpha and the power of Mother Moon. We welcome Zyston Kale Woods as our new Alpha!" Everyone saying their name and position to the pack. Kneeling and showing their submission. A small wave of power hits me. I can feel small links to every pack member; now, it was my turn.

"I, Zyston Kale Woods, accept to be Alpha of the Silver Moon Pack. To be First of command to Moon Goddess, Selene. I vow as Alpha I will treat everyone in my pack fairly and will not abuse my power. With this vow, I accept you all as my pack." With my Alpha vow, a huge wave of power happened. Making me the new Alpha of the Silver Moon Pack.

Explaining to Adriana how it all happened. Leaving out what my Mother said about being a King. There reason behind why I didn't mention it. They're something that I haven't quite told her yet. Like sensing what I'm feeling, water sloshes around as she gets on my lap. Her arms beside my head looking at me with her stormy grey eyes.

"Zyston, what a matter?" She asks me, looking at me with all concerns. Giving her a small smile, sitting up, holding her tight to me.

Moving my hands up her back, holding her tight to me. Pulling her lips off mine, we were both a little breathless. Pressing her head against mine.

"Promise me that you will tell me when the time comes? I don't want any secrets between us." She says breathlessly and desperately.

"They're just something I can't tell you right now. When the time comes, I promise I will tell you."

"Okay." Putting her trust in me and no longer pressing the matter.

Kissing her lovingly, moving my hands further up her back. Until I reached her shoulders with each hand holding onto her shoulders. Kissing down her jaw and neck, she leans her head back.
