25 Chapter Twenty-Five

[P.O.V. Adriana Braxton]

Still in my wolf form with Evanora lighting strike still hitting the Man magic shield. I couldn't help but feel baffled about how he got here. He looks a lot like Milo and Gilo because, for that reason, I knew he must be the other triplet.

"Whatever you do, do not leave my side." The Man says in a serious tone through mind-link. "We can do an introduction later."

"What about Zyston? He needs to be protected, as well." Telling the Man with worry laced in my voice.

"Don't worry about Zyston his a strong guy; he can take care of himself." Looking back at Zyston, his body has a little bit of smoke that was still coming off. It's killing me seeing him as this has always been the strong one out of us two.

"Are you kidding me!? He is not okay! If you're not going to help me save him, then I will do it myself!" Growling out. Taking off heading towards Zyston body.

"Adriana!" The Man yells furiously. Zyston wasn't too far away from me. Almost to his body getting tackled from the right. Lighting bolt hits right where I was before getting tackled. The Man puts his shield back up as another lightning bolt strikes it.

"Dammit! I told you not to leave my side!" He snaps at me.

"I need to get to my mate!" Snapping back at him.

"You need to trust me when I say he can handle himself! If anything happens to you, I'm going to have to deal with a very piss off Alpha! Now do as your told and stay by my side!" Staying by the Man side, Evanora and him continue to fight.

With her throwing electric bolts and him breathing fire back at her. They kept continuing this for what seemed like hours, but in reality, it was only minutes. This whole time keeping an eye on Zyston, the smoke has stopped. His breathing was starting to slow. Afraid if I look away, he is going to stop breathing.

"How long do we have to continue this? I need to get to him." Telling the Man desperately.

"Forever how long it takes to distract her from him." He answers.

"Distract her? What the hell are you talking about?"

"How much do you know about Zyston Dragon, Stryker?"

"Not much, Why?" He lightly chuckles.

"Just tell me when his body starts to glow purple." He says a little amusingly. Watching Zyston for a few minutes, his body did start to glow purple.

"He glowing purple?" Asking myself with disbelief out loud threw mind-link. The Man looks at Zyston.

"About damn time... I'm going to give her one more distraction. When I do, you run for the forest line. I'll be right behind you..." Zoning the Man out and watching Zyston body, his bones broke and shifted him out of Travis's body. 'What the hell?'

"Are you ready?" The Man asks. Without giving him my answer, he attacks Evanora telling me to run.

Running fast as I could to the forest tree line, the Man follows me. After getting into the tree line, Evanora looks from the tree line towards Zyston body. Giving a realization look, she starts to electrocute Zyston once again. Trying to run back towards Zyston, the man holds me back, telling me to wait. The shock wasn't even hurting him anymore. Zyston eyes flew open they were no longer Travis's golden wolf eyes; instead, they were icy blue. After watching and listening to his bones crack, I couldn't believe my eyes.

A huge beautiful black dragon with dark purple underneath it. Three rows of large spikes lined his whole spine all the way down to the tail. The tip of his tail has three really huge spikes. Two spikes on both elbows and knees. They also were on the tips of his wings. More spikes ran along his whole jaw, and two huge horns were on top of his head. Massive black claws were on his feet. The purple aura disappeared once he was fully shifted. I was completely speechless couldn't even utter a word about what I'm seeing.

When he attacked, he was even more beautiful. Everything that was dark purple and along his spine glowed, and even his eyes glow purple.

[P.O.V. Stryker ~ (Zyston Dragon]

We were fighting off the wolves trying to get to our mate. The moment Vincent said he would protect her. We got struck by lightning when we looked at the attacker. Zyston, Travis, and I were all shocked to see it was Evanora.

"Been waiting to do this for a long time now... The moment I take down the Woods Family. Only so I can rule by my Dark Prince side." Evanora says coldly.

"Well, I guess we now know who the traitor is." Telling the guys. They both agreeing with me.

She tries to attack again; this time, she misses only because we dodge it. Travis growls and snarls at her showing his canine teeth. It continues like this next few minutes. We are trying to get closer to her. Jumping in mid-air about to land on our target, we felt pain in our right back leg. It wasn't our pain but the pain of our Mate, Adriana.

Worrying about our Mate distracted us, and that when Evanora started to electrocute us. Landing on the ground hard with her lighting shocking us. I could hear Zyston and Travis yelling in our head. It got to the point Travis howled really loud. Even though I was being shocked, it didn't affect me as it did with the other two. Instead of hurting me, it was charging my power-up, and it felt fantastic.

It took a few minutes to soak in all that power, and once I did. It felt like I drank multiple cups of coffee. Opening my eyes, spotting Shiloh and Adriana in the tree line. It made me feel relief, knowing that her guardian was protecting her. Now it was my turn to take on the role of being a guardian. Taking control of our body shifting into my dragon form. Fully shifted, looking at Evanora, she takes a few steps back. The look on her face was priceless.

"You want to play that way, huh? Fine by me!" She yells. Using both her hands, she tries to shock me. It only made me laugh.

'Stupid witch! Doesn't she see that it doesn't hurt me? If she wants to play with electricity, then I will show her how to play with it.' Sucking in my breath, I could feel the electricity dancing inside my lungs. With my lungs feeling full, opening my mouth, letting it all out. Multiple purple lighting bolts coming out of my mouth. Heading towards Evanora, she blocks my attack with a barrier she makes around her.

The ground starts to shake as she rises huge boulders out of the ground, throwing them at me. Using my lighting breath, breaking the boulder's coming towards me. We continue this for a while until I saw Vincent was shifted in his Wolf, Major. Sneaking behind, Evanora knew right there, and then I needed to keep her distracted. Also, try to make her shield weak.

Sucking in a deep breath and letting it out my final hit, hitting her shield hard, she collapses to the ground. With her shield no longer protecting her. At that moment, that's when Vincent attacks her. Pinning her down, trying to bite her while she holds his head back. Using her magic, she creates a spear stabbing Vincent. All the way threw his back to all the way through to his front. A loud and painful whine was released, pulling him off her. He floating in the air, he shifted back into his human form. Taking her spear out of him and sends him flying into a large tree. Taking my chance to hit her hard with my lighting strike, she turns into ash.

Adriana shifted back into human form. Wearing Shiloh's shirt, she runs towards Vincent. Even though I was glad, she has covered up just the thought she wearing some other man shirt. It drove me absolutely jealous and very possessive. Trying hard to hold back my emotions for right now was not the time.

Shifting into Zyston human body with me still in control. For Travis was still weak, and Zyston was still hurt badly. Shiloh walks towards me and hands me a pair of basketball shorts. Typical Shiloh, his always prepared for a situation like this. Putting the shorts on, we head over towards Vincent and Adriana.

Getting closer, Adriana moves out of the way, letting me kneel beside him. Just looking at his wound, I could tell he wasn't going to make it.

"Well, ain't this shitty," Vincent says in-jokey a tone. Trying to light up the situation.

"You have had better days," Joking back with him. He winces in pain, coughing up blood. He spits the blood out and breaths heavily.

"I don't have a lot of time, kid, come here; I need to tell you something." Leaning in closer to him, he whispers in my ear. "Tell Zyston to look in my safe... The combination is 1705... there is a letter in there that Katrina and he needs to read..."

"I will tell him." He nods his head weakly. He didn't say any more words. Within a few seconds, he drew his final breaths.
