19 Chapter Nineteen

[P.O.V. Zyston Woods]

There are five main town's that surrounds Raven City. Not including the small ones in between them. Each town belongs to different types of supernatural species. And each town has a God or Goddess that watches over them. Raven City is like the heart of the town's where all supernatural can interact. Without having to worry about crossing the wrong town border.

These last couple of months have been difficult. Discovering that Alexander is raising the dead supernatural back to life. Using them as his pawns for his army. Each town is being attacked by there own dead and outcast. Raven City also has them swarming everywhere. Whatever dark magic his using to raise them is very powerful, and whatever he has said and promises the outcast they have joined him.

After barking out orders, my beast's and I are feeling restless. Feeling all kinds of emotions that are just scrambling around. Sitting here in my office stuck in deep thought. Trying to figure out who this traitor is. Also, wondering where Alexander is hiding? It is not like him to send notes or have someone do his work for him. What is his plan? He threatens my Mate only because he believes that I have killed his. It happened here in Dark Wood. I also wasn't the same man I am today when it all happened.

~~~~~~Flash Back~Early 1800's~~~~~~

Katrina has been begging me to take our dragons, Stryker and Yasmine, out for a fly. It's the same thing as taking our wolves out for a run. We are in the family room, arguing about going out.

"Please! Zyston, I am begging you! Yasmine is literally all but digging her way out to get to the forest!" A woman with long black and curly hair. Wearing a beautiful purple Noblewoman dress. Was yelling and pleading desperately to me.

"We can't go out; it too dangerous right now! Vincent Mate, Cassandra, and his Son, Nathaniel, was just murder! Our family has been threatened! I don't want you to end up dead as well, Kat! Couldn't bear knowing my twin was dead!" Yelling back at her. They say losing a twin feels like half of your soul is being ripped out. I love and care about Katrina too much to lose her.

"I know it's the reason why I am begging you to come with me!"

"Dammit, Katrina! Why do you put me in these situations!"

"Because it not just Yasmine and I, I know Stryker, and you can feel it too through our twin bond!" She right; I can. All night long, I have been feeling what's she feeling. Kat stands in front of me, staring at me with hopeful eyes. Letting a deep breath out from being tired from the arguing.

"Please, Zyston... With you there, I know I will be safe." She looks down in disappointment.

Letting out another heavy sigh pressing my forehead against hers. For a few minutes before placing a kiss on her head. Letting out a final sigh and nodding my head yes. Kat's eyes got bigger and brighter. She hugs me tight, and I return the favor.

"If we do this, then we can't shift it too dangerous right now." Telling her seriously, Kat nods her head, agreeing with me. With that said and done, we leave the house.

We have been out here in the forest for hours. It will be dawn soon. Mother and Vincent will know we sneaked out if we don't get back to the house soon.

"Kat, I don't know what your dragon is looking for, but we need to get back" Kat keeps walking ahead of me and then starts running. "Katrina!... Kat!.." Yelling after her.

Running after her getting close to her, I could smell blood. Thinking my twin was in trouble, I pushed my legs harder. Finally catching up, she was standing in a small clearing looking at something. Standing next to her, she was staring at a woman with a pregnant belly. Leaning up against a tree sitting in a puddle of her own blood. Looking closer, her leg was seriously hurt. She held a dagger in her hand, looking like she was ready to attack Kat and me.

Looking at Kat, her eyes were no longer hers but of her dragon Yasmine. Icy blue eyes replaced bright emerald green. Feeling her through our twin bond, she doesn't feel threatened but protective of the woman.

"Getaway! You demons!" The woman yelled, breathless, and scared. "I will not go back to my husband; I would rather die!"

"Calm down were not here to hurt you. Tell me who your husband is?" Asking the woman with dominance. She started to tremble as tears fell down her face.

"Alexander Parr." The woman says, very rawly. This is the wife of the Witch Hunter Leader?

Her husband is the one who killed my sister-in-law and Nephew!... The idea just occurred to me that I could kill her for my brother—mate for Mate, a child for a child. Ready to attack her, Katrina grabs my arm and shakes her head 'no.'

"Innocent.." Kat whispers. It took me a minute to understand what she meant. When I did understand, she was talking about an Innocent Bond.

Dragons can see into different being's souls to see if the being is guilty or innocent. If guilty, we can kill that being if we choose. But if the being is purely innocent, it is against a dragon's very existence to hurt the innocent. Creating a bond between the innocent and that dragon. Once the bond is created, the dragon will protect the innocent for as long the innocent lives.

Looking into my twin's dragon's eyes, realizing that Yasmine has made a bond with this woman. Knowing if I attacked this woman, I would have to fight my twin. I couldn't fight my twin; not only is Katrina my twin. But her beasts are my beasts twins; we couldn't hurt our twin. Sighing deeply from frustration, my beast's and I stand down.

Katrina blinked her eyes, and they change back to her green ones. Giving me a small smile, she went to talk with the woman. By the end of their conversation, the woman had built trust for Katrina. The woman's name was Sarah Parr; she had run away from her husband. On her way to escaping, she fell down a hill and cut her leg on a sharp rock. Using her magic to protect her unborn child. After getting to know Sarah, we all came up with a plan to fake her death.

When the time came to put our plan into action, Katrina hid in the trees watching from afar. When I could feel Alexander's presence behind me, I put the plan into action.

Changing my eyes into Stryker's icy blue ones, grabbing Sarah by the throat, holding her above me. With a potion, Sarah made out of some herbs. That she drank earlier, she fell asleep as I pretended to snap her neck. Making it look even more real than what it actually was.

~~~~~Flash Back Over~~~~~

Now all because of my stupid action, I have put my own Mate in danger. Lost in deep thought, the only thing bringing me out of it was a scorching pain. The pain wasn't mine, but Adriana, I could feel it threw our new half mated bond. Getting out of my office chair and made way to Adriana.

Entering the room, the light from the sunrise was peeping through the window. Giving off enough light, I could see Adriana curled up in a ball on the bed. Whimpering my name, sitting next to her on the bed, moving her hair out of her face.

"Shh... it's okay. I'm here." Saying soothing words to her.

"Where did you go?" She asks.

"Had to take care of some pack business." She looks up at me. Our eyes get caught with one another. She mumbles an "oh" as she pushes her cheek into my hand. Enjoying the strong sparks, our skin was giving one another.

"Zyston?.." She asks, a little breathless. Answering with "mhmm," she continues. "Please kiss me." With a small smile tugging at my lips. Leaning down and pressing my lips against her. It started slow and romantic, and then it turned into wildness and passion.

Pulling the covers down, my beasts and I were happy to know she was still naked. An appreciated growl slipped my lips and rumble through my chest. Picking her up from her spot, moving her. In the middle of the bed, she squeals and giggles.

"Zyston!" She yells while still giggling. "Kneeling between her legs and placing kisses on her neck. "What are you doing?" Giggling some more.

"Your heat is back, Little Light making your scent insatiable. The sparks left on our skin are driving me mad for more. Looking at your perfect naked body is making it irresistible not to touch you. Your wild kisses are driving me insane. So what I'm going to do with you? I'm going to fuck you on our bed while a romantic sunrise rises upon our bed." Answering with deep desire. With her arousal in the air and feeling her emotions through are bond. Kissing her passionately and fucking her till the sun was up.
