3 Chapter 2

Matt Pov

Hello, I'm Matt Moore. Today is my 18th birthday. I was the heir to the Moon Pine Pack before I lost the right to it. But that's another story for another time. I'm an Omega. I used to dislike myself being an omega because that was one of the reasons why everyone, including my family, despised me, plus the thought of someone ordering me around is sickened. I'm what you call a broken omega with little to no estrogen level, meaning I have little to no chance of getting pregnant, which tells me I don't have to bottom. The thought of me having to bottom is displeasing.

If I do have a mate, I hope, no unquestionably prefer him not order me around, not like he could since nobody in the Pack was able to, Lucky;) I think I will be mateless as I don't think I'll find an alpha or an alpha interested in me. This is because I, was an abnormal omega, prefer to top an alpha, but no alpha prefers to bottom, right? My future Alpha would instantly reject me because I look nothing like an omega, and they may feel like I'm challenging their wolf, but I can't make myself submissive if I have never been like that before. I'll be alone. I was not looking forward to today. Currently, I'm in my room wearing a black suit, staring at myself in the mirror, looking like my twin, being 6'11 and looking like an alpha plus not having some creep jumping on me, so I don't have people ready to jump on me.

I sighed. I look like I'm off to a funeral rather than a party. I heard that the Red Luck Pack is coming over today, not that I care. Rumour said that their Alpha is cold-hearted, plus you don't want to mess with him because if you do, you'll be dead before you even realised what's going on. He lost his parent at 18 because of a conflict between his uncle and his parent; in a disagreement with each other, Jaden uncle stabbed his dad first in the heart with wolfbane, and when Jaden mom tries to stop him, his uncle swiftly stabbed his mom on the chest it also happens so fast all that Jaden himself witnessed. Still, originally, Jaden was supposed to be asleep because his uncle drugged him with warm milk by making him asleep. However, Jaden was too tired and forgot to drink the milk, so it was still by his bedside and that when a suddenly cause Jaden to jump out of his room and witness how horrifying his uncle really is and how alone he is now throughout the ordeal but what a poor soul.

He started to close his heart and kept his guard up ever since then. I'm not sure if it's true. After all, I'm not allowed to be in their meeting because I'm an Omega. Before the death of his parents, he was an angel and a social butterfly.

So far, he's mateless as many think his mate must have been killed or he's being punished. I know that is my birthday, but I don't want to go, but if I don't go, I would be disrespecting the other Pack and my parents' 'reputation' I slowly walk into the door of the Diner hall cheers and laughter becoming louder and louder. Numerous people look at me with pity, pity that I was an omega.

Some congratulated me, but I reciprocated by looking at them coldly when passing them, hearing them uttering criticism such as 'I'm disrespectful, but I don't care. The scent of chocolate engulfed my being. I walk toward it to find not chocolate but a guy able 6'6 spinning before falling to the ground. My body instinctively moves toward him. I held him toward me. It was like time stopped for us. This supposed stranger tightly shut his eyes while his arm was on his chest. He looks adorable. He's an alpha, and he looks like my type that I can't help but tease him.

"Hey, are you going to let go of me now, or are you going to stay in my arms, not that I minded."

His pair of chocolate eyes shot open, and he quickly pushes himself off of me. I frowned as the comfortable warmth left me. "I....um....well.....s.....sor...sorry.....I.....um......." he stuttered, not known where to look, looked down at his shoes, his face heated up from embarrassment.

I put my hand to my mouth to cover up the laugh he was going to hear. He was so adorable. He looked, which cause me to quickly put a hand behind my back which I tried to compose my face. I lean forwards, waiting to hear what he was going to say next. As I got closer, he gasps while staring at my eyes before looking at my face.

We stared at each other before he reaches his soft hand to touch my face, which causes me to froze and my mind went blank. His hand slowly slide down to my beard as it gently pricks his fingers. Then a mixture of different expressions was displayed on his face. I cough, catching his attention as he quickly retracted his had mumbled sorry before running away. He left me alone, but he stopped and glanced back at me, which made me pretend to be sad, which made him debate in his head whether to come back. I was hoping he would come back, but he didn't and continue running away. But I didn't care much was an understatement I was looking forward to seeing each other again since the party has just started, and he was definitely in the Red Luck Pack.

Then I saw my brother Mason glaring at me. Still, I do not care, so I turn to get myself a glass of champagne before standing against the wall being bored and hoping to see the cute Alpha again, plus hoping he could be my mate, but like, let's not get my hope up for nothing only two more hours till its 12.

Mason Pov

Hello, I'm Mason Moore, heir to the Moon Pine Pack. I didn't want it, and I didn't mean to take it away from my brother. I mean, it's not like I told my dad, 'Hey dad can you give the heir to me?' And it's not like I told the moon goddess to give it to me. This causes our relationship to break, and I don't know how to mend this relationship back together. Today is my 18th birthday along with my brother furthermore I'm very excited to see my future mate. I'm also 6'11, like my brother since we're twins. I was already in the dining hall, greeted by many whiles at the corner of my eyes. I could see people give pity smiles to Matt. If I could give up my right as heir, I would because I don't want to bear the responsibility it's too heavy, but my dad would not accept my rejection to being an heir as I'm an Alpha as he had told me so many times before. I love my brother very much, and I hate that this has separated us. I try to ignore this and slowly walk toward Matt before a chocolate scent pass by me. Then I saw Matt holding some guy in his arms. This was the first time anyone touches him or him having the initiative to touch someone else. He smiles and laughs for the first time, which made me happy for a bit before I wonder who this mysterious person was since I know Matt wasn't close to any one of our Pack. Just then did I realised that my dad had invited The Red Luck Pack over. I moved a bit close but not too close so that I wouldn't upset Matt. I could only have a glance at the mysterious person, and let me tell you, he was adorable. I wanted him so bad, but I didn't know if I could. In the beginning, I took the heir from Matt even though it was unintentional, not that Matt believed it, but now I intentionally want to take this cutie away from Matt. Aren't I a bit too unfair?
