19 Impossible!

Janoy spun the tire as fast as he could. But this was his first time using this ability. He hasn't gotten used to it yet. Still, the tractor tire ran fast – a bit faster than the Ford Raptor that chased them a while ago.

"How... did you... do this!?" Elena yelled in amazement over her son's new ability.

"I... don't... know!" Janoy replied loudly.

"This... is... so... cool!" Ato yelled too as they rolled away to escape.

Then Guntira sprinted. Janoy saw Guntira followed. He can see clearly that their enemy was way faster than them. His speed was twice that of theirs and it's even doubtful whether he's running at his peak.

Janoy kept on glancing behind to check Guntira. When Guntira had reached near them, he once again jumped.

"Sorry, but I need to throw you!" Janoy yelled to his two passengers as soon he saw Guntira jumped.

"W-w-what do you mean 'throw us'!?" Elena yelled.

Janoy slowed down and veered to the right and threw the two into the canal. The canal had no concrete walls and had clear rural water so he knew they will be ok.

Elena and Ato wailed. Before they knew it, they've splashed in the water causing the water to turn muddy.

An instant after Janoy threw the two, Guntira landed over thirty meters ahead him. Strangely, Janoy suddenly sped up forward to the maximum he can get. Then he pulled all his knees' strength and jumped from the tire!

He also mentally caused the tire to jerk to give him an additional push and increase the momentum of his jump. Three forces: the tire's speed, his jump, and the tire's jerk combined to give him the highest possible momentum.

"YAAHH!" Janoy yelped.

It was only three seconds after Guntira landed and he hadn't focused yet his attention to Janoy when the latter reached him and thrust a pointed steel bar at his abdomen!

Guntira was stunned. He never expected this kid will be able to quickly come up with such a plan.

A while ago, when Janoy realized that he can make the tire run while he was trying to get out of the tractor's body, he planned to escape. But because he had no idea how fast he can make the tire run, he will need to have a back-up plan.

First, they will try escaping. But once he confirmed that it's impossible to outrun Guntama's speed, he will have to shift to plan B.

The steel bar that he saw in the tractor gave him the idea for a back-up plan. He knew that Guntira had a habit of jumping above them and landing in front to make a grand entrance.

"My plan worked! D-did I win!?" Janoy thought. He felt his hand touched Guntama's abdomen. Guntira was motionless. The steel must have pierced through his body.

But a moment after, Janoy felt Guntama's hands held his wrists.

"Nice try!" Guntira sneered and spread Janoy's arms. Janoy was still holding the steel and saw it's been bent.

"But here's what you need to know... There's nothing in this world that can cut my body," said Guntira to Janoy and he threw him away.

Janoy slammed at a boulder, breaking it to pieces, crashed on a rocky ground, and hit his head on a half-burried sturdy rock causing him to cough blood.

"Guess what? You're time is up!" said Guntira to Janoy. He looked at Elena and her body quivered. She, together with Ato, hid themselves behind the tractor tire.

"But... apparently, you're gradually discovering your power and you didn't failed to surprise me.

I have to admit it, I'm impressed when I saw you ride the tractor tire. The power that is in you is indeed interesting. And because... I'm starting to enjoy our fight already, I'll give you two more minutes. Attack me with all you've got. I won't fight back. But after a minute, I will start to attack and will target first..." Guntira glanced again at Elena, "your mother!"

"Smash..." Elena wept. All that she can do was cry. She wanted to help her son. She wanted to do something, but she can't.

She knew that the bald man's first target was herself and that it was she who's really in need of saving first. If she's not here, her son might have a chance of escaping. She strongly felt she had been a burden to Smash. She blamed herself.

"Maybe, by that time, you're true power will come out. If not, then... it is your fault," Guntira taunted Janoy.

Meanwhile, in a not so far distance.

"Sir, the material was already here. We can now put it in the frame for testing," said the head scientist to the officer.

"So that is the Palladium microalloy glass? Hmm... the third strongest material on Earth. It looks nice. Just wait after I finish my meal. I'd like to see everything," the boss replied.

"Ok, sir. This will be the last material to be tested. It is the third strongest among all natural and man-made materials. But in a while we will see how the Mambra thermoplastic will replace its place."

Janoy struggled to stand. His knees and hands were on the ground. He pushed his body up to stand but he spat blood. His vision blurred.

"This is it... this is the end. Things happened so fast. I didn't even got a time to enjoy this power. I thought it's cool to have powers. But this is the real world... people will kill to have power," Janoy muttered.

When his vision cleared, he recognized the type of rock his head hit a while ago. Now he knew why the collision really hurt him compared to when he collided to the boulder.

About ten meters to his right was a rocky hill. And he saw BIF rocks around. He remembered her science teacher told them that this rock is called a Banded Iron Formation (BIF) rock. Geologists considered it to be the "world's toughest rock."

It is composed of alternating layers (bands) of red iron (hematite), silver specular iron, and quartz. It is harder than pure iron and using a hammer to break it will only damage the hammer than the rock.

"What's the matter? Are you giving up already?" said Guntira. "It's not your fault to have power. But it will be your fault if your mother will die. Release the power within you and she will live."

Janoy recovered a bit his strength. He took a deep breath and concentrated. He tried to understand his power. Guntira had been telling him to release the power with in him. He realized now that that might be the clue.

He tried to connect himself with his power. To be one with it. He also recalled the peculiar feeling when he's connecting with the rubber tire and spinning it through telekinesis.

Finally, he tried to recall the feeling everytime his heart warmed when it glows. Everytime this happened, he recovered his strength and felt it rising. Being mindful of these experiences, allowed him to be one with the flow of his power.

Guntira can see that the kid's heart was glowing again. Janoy can feel it more than ever. He took a deep breathe again, closed his eyes, and concentrated on the experience.

He can feel the warmth in his heart. He can feel his power growing. He can feel that he can raise his power level.

Janoy, dashed to attacked Guntira. The latter can feel that the impact of the kid's blows have increased. His speed also increased. This pleased Guntira and he's just allowing the kid to hit him.

All of Janoy's punches and kicks landed on Guntira. And his body was being hurled from here to there. Janoy was also pushing the man farther away from Elena and Ato.

The more that Janoy fights, the more he felt himself synchronizing with his power. He felt that he can raise it to a higher level. And he needed more strength.

"Yahhh!" Janoy yelled. His heart glowed brightly. His strength leveled up.

Guntira got more excited. He'd been waiting for this excitement for a long time already. Janoy charged again, giving Guntira rapid punches and kicks.

Guntira felt the pressure. Some blows were hurting him already. But he had said he will allow Janoy to hit him within two minutes.

He wanted to block or avoid Janoy's punches but his pride was preventing him.

On the other hand, Janoy's worry was increasing. He knew his running out of time and based on his opponent's reaction to his blows, he's still very far from having a chance of defeating him.

The worse thing was he's starting to feel tired already. He had lost sync with his power. It seemed that he's just slowly consuming it but can't maintain nor raise it anymore. He needed to do something while its too late.

But Janoy hasn't really shown his full strength to Guntira since his last level up. He had a plan his preparing for and he will have to use his real strength when he executes the plan.

Janoy was keenly observing their distance from Elena and Ato. "This is it," Janoy thought it's time to execute his plan. Janoy kicked Guntira at his abdomen.

This time he increased the power in his kick. To put it numerically, he used seventy percent of his real strength. All the while, he was only using fifty to sixty percent.

"What..?!" Guntira was surprised at the latest kick. It hurt him and hurled him sixty meters away.

But what surprised him more was to see the kid rushed towards Elena and Ato. Janoy quickly grabbed his mother and his friend and jumped. He controlled the tire and it followed below them.

As soon as they landed on the tire, they zoomed away. This time their speed was faster. But instead of hitting the road, Janoy headed towards the rocky hill where he was thrown a while ago and hit a boulder causing it to break.

Guntira was upset. "Despicable!" he muttered. He looked at his watch and saw that only a minute was left. He dashed to catch up with the three.

His speed was faster. He wanted to punish them as soon as he catches them. Janoy had reached the back of the hill and they vanished from Guntama's sight.

Guntira increased more his speed. Moments after, he reached the hill. But before he ran past it, Janoy suddenly met him and, with a hundred percent of his strength, smashed onto Guntama's shiny head a BIF rock the size of a five-liter water gallon.

The impact was staggering. It produced a thundering sound. Guntira collided against the BIF rock at full speed and the world's hardest rock shattered at his head.

Guntira slammed to the ground, his back and the back of his head hit first before he bounced twice. Elena and Ato's eyes were wide in shock.

"T-that was brilliant!" Ato muttered. His admiration of Janoy became complete. He saw him fight selflessly and witnessed his strategies. Everything about how Ato sees Janoy have now changed.

Janoy was breathing fast and deep. The force he exerted when he smashed the rock at Guntira's head seemed to have exhausted him and his knees were shaking.

But it was also because he was uncertain of the result of what he just did.

Guntira's eyes were closed. What hit him was, perhaps, several times stronger than the RPG explosive.

"Y-you did it... Yes, you did it, Smash!" Elena yelled. She felt so proud of her son.

Janoy felt relieved as soon as he heard her mother's words. Her affirmation was assurance to him.

"J-Janoy..." Ato muttered. He wanted to come to him and embrace him.

"Did I really wi—" Janoy didn't finished. Guntira suddenly vanished. Then he bounced from the hill and bounced again from a tree.

The movements were very fast. The next time Janoy saw Guntira, his besides his mother holding her at the neck!

"Ahrgk..!" Elena can't breathe. Guntira was strangling her. Ato froze.

When Janoy looked at Guntama's face, he felt chill spread throughout his body. Guntama's face changed. His expression became sinister. His eyes that of a killer psychopath.

As soon as Guntira saw the terror in Janoy's eyes, he started to laughed. The sinister laugh began from a low voice to loud, then to high pitch.

He's laughing at the top of his voice, releasing a sinister aura of self-satisfaction and evil delight. He seemed to have lost his right reason.

Suddenly, he pushed Elena and she smashed against the hill. She howled as soon as she collided in the rocky hill and fell to the ground. Janoy was speechless. He stared at his mother. Elena was barely moving due to the pain all over her body.

"S-smash... run!" she still managed to tell her son even if she can't move anymore her head.

"I haven't killed her yet. Your time is not yet up. You still have twenty six sec—"

Guntira didn't finished. Janoy's terror suddenly turned to suicidal anger and he charged at full power towards Guntira.

Guntira was hurled more than eighty meters away and bouncing several times in the ground after receiving a punch from Janoy. Janoy sprinted towards his opponent.

"Didn't I told you already, there's nothing on Earth that can hurt me!" Guntira yelled while trying to stand as Janoy was speeding towards him.

Before he can fully stand straight, his jaw received a full-powered uppercut. He was thrown around fifty meters above and over sixty meters further away.

"Yes, that's it. Give me all you've got" Hahahahaha! Guntira laughed while in midair.

Janoy jumped upwards and before Guntira can finish his evil laugh, Janoy grabbed his leg. Then he spun while in mid-air. He spun seven times,

"Yaahhhhh... WAH!," with all his strength, Janoy hurled Guntira down.

Guntira plummeted like a falling comet. He looked at his watch,

"Uh, time's up!" Guntira smiled. "Now you all will d— UGH!" Guntira jerked. His eyes widened. Second after, "ARRGHK!!" blood burst from his mouth.

Guntira crashed in the maraging steel clamp where the Mambra spear was standing at forty-five degrees angle. The thermoplastic's tip deformed a bit but it still pierced his back and poked out of his chest.

The concrete floor, where the base of the clamp was fixed, cracked, causing the car-size steel base to partially dislodged from the floor.

The now third strongest material, ten times stronger than diamonds, penetrated the supposedly impenetrable body of Guntira. Never in Janoy's mind did this event entered as a possibility.

The men in the building scrambled to where the loud thumping sound originated. They saw the bald man dying on top of the testing clamp. Blood covered his body.

"G-G-Guntira!" the boss recognized the man. "I-impossible! How did this happened?"
