17 Chapter 16 Drunk

It took two days for me to truly become annoyed with Antons new rules. I missed seeing Tobi not to mention my family and Matthew was irking me.

Wherever I went, people instantly fled. Not only the men, but the women, too, seemed interested in avoiding me. Samantha, Matthew, and Anton were my only companions.

Matthew had this annoying habit of taunting me with tidbits of Antons past. Every time he decided to tell a short story about Anton, he would just drive his point across even more. I wish his stories would go in one ear and out the other.

I was spending the majority of my time in the base, because I learned that Matthew made the fewest taunts there. Anton spent a good amount of time at the base, so I had some safety there. Still, whenever we were out of earshot, I would hear more stories of Antons raids, his victims, and his women.
