5 Chapter 5 A New Skill

"Freedom are you here? Um, Hunter sent me to see you, um, for your hunting skills."

As Alpha finished talking a bald eagle swooped down, and caught a fish, then landed by Alpha.

"So you're the student, huh? Barrow, Birch, and Hunter told me great stories of you, exposing your so called "powers".

"Um, thanks."

"I will teach you to be a great hunter, so you can reclaim your crown." Freedom spoke with a deep, wise voice. Gesturing as he spoke. He ate his fish and continued. "So you're here to hunt, am I correct?"

"I don't know, Barrow healed me, Birch made me run fast, and Hunter helped me with strength, and I guess I'm ready for battle."

"Okay, we'll, follow me." Freedom left the ground and landed on Alpha's back. "Do you mind?'

"No."

"Okay, good. Now go to that rock over there." He pointed to a rock by the river. It was smooth, gray, and had a perfectly flat top for animals to stand. Alpha, with no balance whatsoever, made her way to the rock. "Now hunch down low so you can pounce."

"Like this?" She lowered her body to the ground, hind legs coiled to jump.

"Great! Now jump!"

"Okay!" Alpha leapt off the boulder into the river, and caught a fish!

"Wonderful!"

"I guess I'm a natural."

"I will teach you more basics tomorrow, you need to rest, with a nice dinner."

Alpha woke up to a wonderful sunrise, and did her morning routine. She meet Freedom by the river.

"Ready?'

"Ready."

Freedom, with the note of that, lead Alpha to do more training for hunting. "Ugh, you need balance. Tomorrow you will see Billy, he will teach you balance."

"Okay."

"Now catch us dinner, so you can get balance."

"My pleasure." Alpha, now with gaining strength, using the muscles she hasn't used in a long time, eats more fish. She went to sleep, with a assignment in the morning.
