Chapter 2: Alpha's Rage
I sat on the holding cell with the man smirking. He thought he was proud of himself for arresting me. The rage inside me was almost making me transform into my wolf. I wanted to rip his heart out so badly but I'll be waiting here.
"Keep smirking... Your going to lose your life!" I snapped at him
He scoffs and speaks proudly "People like you get away with anything and blame others... So don't worry and wait for the judge tomorrow"
The door slams open and the man stands up and I noticed the new chief "I can't believe my eyes..."
I stand up and placed my hands behind my back "Hello Gerard... Seems like you have a new officer..."
"Sir you now him?" the guy says a bit annoyed
"Now him... He basically owns us..." the Chief snaps back
"Seems like your new pup doesn't now the rules and laws correctly yet..." I taunt a little
"Mark release him this instance!" The Chief orders out as he looks terrified
Mark looks excited to release me and he opens my cell. I sensed my Beta behind the door and I just left. Ready to sue this place. I have proof. I was calm when speaking. I can't imagine my whole pack enraged but humans don't know about us. We were thinking if telling the Chef just for in case but in the end we don't want to. We are trying to get a werewolf in this police station just for in case. But it's in the thinking process.I opened the door as I let the Chief yell at the man. I saw my Beta and he perks up. The officers companion looks calmed. Good. He is a nice fellow. Young and still learning.
"When we get to my office I want you to notify everything to my secretary and we'll start filling a lawsuit" I told my Beta in the heat of the moment
My Beta and I started walking to the opening. I am high and ready to sue this place. Unlawful arrest. That would be a banger. This place already has a bad reputation from what they have done in the past. So now their trying to recover it with this new chief basically. But what happened today. I doubt this place will recover it's reputation. I heard the Chief speaking behind us but we ignored him. His talking ended up in pleading.
My Beta and I walked out of the police station with the chief behind us pleading to me. His officer arrested me for not staying quiet. He tried writing a report that I had punched the officer and tried making his companion lie. But my beta and his companion spoke to the chief. I was let out but when the Chief saw who got arrested he is terrified. I always donate large sums of money to this police station so they can keep protecting and serving. A few pack members have their own store were they make lunches for the police officers. They sent an officer to arrest the man and investigate if the man had other illegal animals. But right now the chief is trying to apologize for the man. This is so enraging but this has never happened under his wing basically. So I turn to the man completely pissed off. I am more relaxed but I am still angry. He stops completely frozen. His eyes wide open waiting for me to speak.
"Sir... The only personal offense I will take is that man arresting me for doing nothing... When I get back to check on the update of the case I better see him fired..." I notified pissed off
I can hear the companions whispering and some sounded excited "Yes sir... Anything else?"
"Oh I hope... If you don't want me suing the whole department!" I snapped pissed off
I noticed in my peripheral vision the officer terrified he was as white as a piece of paper "I know sir... Please let's calm this down before anything..."
"Today isn't my day ok Chief Gerard... My friend here notified me that the pup the man hunted IS an endangered species and it's from our wolf pack species so I hope that man is arrested I was even going to come here and bring some meals from my Niece's restaurant that she wanted to send! Now their going to waste" I say completely pissed off
"Let's give it to the homeless shelter we built" My beta suggest as he is texting on his phone
The man swallowed a lump as he knows me well and I just sighed out "Let's go... Lilac must be waiting for us at the Bakery..."
The Chief tried saying something but stayed silent. They knew not to argue with me. First time I had a negative encounter I had cameras and I sued their whole department. Won the case and got the old Chief and half the police officers fired and forbidden to work at any department involving the Federal and Governmental system. Or any high paying job. I even found out later on that their wives and girlfriends left them. I didn't expect them to have had such a bad life but the way I got so many connections. I did my best but life has its ways. Ashton and I walked to Lilac's bakery. I sighed out. Lilac is a human. She is mated to one of our Warrior Wolves. She is very nice and gentle. She opened up a bakery and all her sweets are also animal friendly for those of us who spoil pets. I have my own pet. She's a beautiful marbled colored gypsy horse.
I sighed out as I started calming down. I wish I can find my mate. We were to be fated once I turned 16 but date always helps us meet before turning the age of 21. But I am 27 right now and I have not found my mate yet. I have traveled to different packs and not found her. I even tried traveling until my father told me to let fate guide me. At first it annoyed me. But that three years ago. I am turning 28 soon. I just hope dad is telling the truth. I looked at Ashton as he looks completely happy and excited. It must have been something his mate said to him.
My heart twist and turn just the thought of mates. I've always wanted to meet her. Or him if fate chose a male for me. I wouldn't complain. All I can do is just wait. I huffed a bit and just kept walking. It took us over ten minutes maybe; of us walking. I just inhaled and exhaled at the sweet aroma of fresh baked goods. I am excited to get my black coffee with a chocolate cake. I sighed out and did my best to get there faster. It must be nice right now. I opened the door and felt such happiness entering this place. The sweet aroma of baked goods always brought me back to my good ol self.
But the chocolate scent was stronger this time so I opened my eyes. Today is chocolate day basically and so Lilac noticed me. She waves at me excited. Ashton enters the room ready to eat and drink some tea. She always now's what we want so all we did was sit down. Ashton was fumbling his fingers as the time was going by slowly. It felt such an eternity. But I did my best to just need some patience right now. Lilac brought my coffee and Ashton's Tea. Everything was going smoothly.
I think she is making us some sandwiches. I inhaled the amazing scent of my coffee but the most amazing scent hits my senses. Chocolate. Marshmallow. A Hint of Strawberry and a hint of Vanilla. Such a sweet scent I can drown myself in. I opened my eyes to see the most gorgeous woman I have ever seen. My heart racing. I was so hypnotized by her that I dropped my coffee. The hot coffee snapping me back into reality.
She thick body is just the right frame. Curvy and huggable. Midnight black hair. Her bangs were crimson red. Beautiful chocolate brown eyes. A slight pale skin. But smooth as freshly melted milk chocolate. She looks perfect. Lilacs employee came to help me in seconds. But I got distracted by her voice.
"Hello... Do you do frozen types of coffee?" her melodic voice pulled at my heart
She looks amazing. Ashton was trying to talk to me but I just didn't want to listen to him. She glances my way and her cheeks fluster and she giggles. I felt like smiling right now. She noticed me. Is she human? Is she a werewolf? Is she a vampire? Is she an angel? Is she a demon? Who cares. In the end she is my angel. Beautiful. Amazing. I want to hear her talk for hours. I was snapped back into reality by my Beta as he shakes his hand in front of my face. He had a worried expression on his face but I am ok. I tried calming him down but when I turn around to go talk to her she was gone.
I felt a wave of sadness wash over me. I'll come back tomorrow. She might be a regular. I must talk to her. I want her to be by my side.
I found her.
