Chapter 9

Isabella's POV

When I woke a strong arm was keeping me in place. I tried to get away but I was stuck with him. He pulled me down this time with me on top of him. I tried getting up but he was stronger so I gave up. I sighed and closed my eyes and just relaxed in his arms. Before I know it I was asleep.

When I woke up the sun was shinning bright on me and I was alone. I guess he woke up and let me sleep. When I looked at my side I saw a note in the nightstand. I went a head and grabbed it. It said "princess I will be in my office come meet me when you wake up. I can't wait to meet you"

When I got out of the bed that's when I felt this sloppy sticky substance between my thighs. Oh no it can't be. I quickly checked the date and it was that time of the month. I rushed to the bathroom and cleaned myself up. I got ready for the day and checked the sheets to make sure if there is any trace of it.

I can already feel I will be moody. I know that when I am on that day, I will be damn tired and I will have unbearable cramps in my stomach and I can't eat that much. I can feel the cramps starting to rise. As soon as I laid my hand on the handle a cramp took me by surprise. I gasped as my other hand reach to my stomach. I took some time to calm down.

I opened the door I was met with the crew and king himself sitting in the chair like he is the king. When I opened the door, his eyes snapped towards me. Those brown eyes lit up as they saw me. He started making his way towards me and pulled me to his embrace. I happily wrapped them around his waist as I was indeed in need of cuddles.

"princess are you ok? I can smell the blood on you and you look kind of sick. Are you ok? let me see wh…..." he rambled on and on about it. I didn't say anything because I was afraid and embarrassed. It is embarrassing to talk about it with my mother. "I am fine "I said wanting to change the subject. "don't lie to me" he said looking at me straight into my eye. "it's nothing I am fine please" I pleaded.

"Isabella" he said with authority and that's when I knew he wasn't kidding. He only uses my name when he is serious about it. "I'm on my period" I mumbled hurily as I covered my face with my hands. "oh, princess are you okay? How are you feeling? Do you need anything" he asked as he removed my hand from my face and looking at my pink tainted face. "and its nothing to be embarrassed about its completely normal" he mumbled again loud enough for me to hear.

He wrapped me in his embarrassed as we stayed like together. Just enjoying our presence. My body perfectly fitted into his body shape. Its like we were meant for each other. Which is basically true since we are mates? Wait what Is mates he said he will explain to me and I fell asleep. I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a laugh that sounded like it was being contained. Both of our heads snapped to the direction of the sound came from.

The culprit being Ryan. King glared at him and lifted me making me wrapping my legs around him. He carried me to his chair and sat both of us in it. I got comfortable in his lap and laid my head on his chest. He rubbed my back soothing me. I clutched my hands to my stomach when my stomach started hurting. "shh its ok…you are ok" he soothed. I snuggled closer to him and closed my eyes.

"king are you sure you don't want to put her to bed" Liam asked. I growled before king could answered. He raised his hand in surrender and the other chuckled. I got comfortable in his lap and wincing whenever I get a really bad cramp.

I groaned when my stomach growled. I got up and went straight to the door. "babe you want anything" I asked as I opened the door. "yeah I will have a black coffee…thanks babe" Noah said winking at me. I rolled my eyes. "don't" king said getting up from his seat.

He wrapped his arms around me as he dragged me to the kitchen. When we entered, I groaned and laid my head on his shoulder. "shh calm my princess…you are ok" he said soothingly in my ear. I went to the counter and laid my head on it. He started fixing something to me.

After sometime he fixed me a sandwich and he made me some bacons because he knew I liked them. And he handed me a glass of juice. I ate some of it and laid my head on the counter since I can't eat no more. I guess king got the clue and took the plate. I heard the sound of water running. I just laid there waiting until he was done.

I knew he was finished when he started rubbing my thigh and started playing with my hair. I raised my head and looked at him with a small smile. He smiles back and said "come on princess I have a surprise and I think you could use it right now" dragging me through the halls. We went to our we came to a stop at these two gigantic doors. He opened the doors and I was met with two floors of books. Every time every kind you can imagine was in there.

"king is this ours" I still asked not believing that this is for us. "yeah this is for you and me" he told me. "king you told me about mates. Can you tell me about them" I asked. "well since you like reading I can give you a book written about it and if you still have any questions, I can clear them" he asked.

"we could od it and if I still don't understand I will come after you" I said pointing at him. "whatever you want' he said kissing my forehead. He dragged me into the middle and he disappeared in the house of books. He came and gave me a book. "read this. wherever you want and we can cuddle if you want" he said. "where are you going?" I asked. "I am going back to the office. I have somethings I have to finish" he answered

"then I will come with you. I wanna stay with you" I said. "ok princess" he asked as we walked to the office hand in hand. When we entered no one was there. I looked at him and he said "they went back to their mates" I made and ohh sound and went to find a comfy spot. When I found the right one I sat there and he sat in his chair. He began his work as I began reading the book, he gave me.
