Damien and Safira almost leaped out of their skin when they heard her voice. They didn't know she was there.

"Sorry, we didn't know you were here," Safira apologized as she averted her gaze from her mate after being released from his grasp.

"Sorry you had to hear that, sis," Damien apologized too.

Diana sighed as she shrugged her shoulders, "Eh, it's not the worst thing I've ever heard from the both of you. Come on, it's time for the ceremony."

Everyone was already seated for the ceremony. Safira and Damien stood at the end of the aisle, surprised by the turnout. Wolves from their packs, and others, have all turned up for Damien's ascension.
