13 CHAPTER THIRTEEN

His hair bounced and swayed as he walked the dirt road carelessly, not knowing where he was or what he was meant to do, his stomach growled that which resembled a starving beast, it was times like this that he wished he was drinking the herb tea his brother always drank.

How long has he been walking? He wondered just as a small shaggy house came into view, his stomach growled once more as the strong aroma of meat clouded all his thoughts, and with that he started running leaving footprints of ice behind him.

“Ma, there’s a boy outside eating our dinner!” A young boy yelled as he peeped through the curtains seeing a blue haired boy licking the thin layers of meat from the bones, Gladys frowned as her second nephew pointed towards the same dusty window with a mortified expression “Archer, what are you- “Gladys stopped as she frowned which turned into a full blown glare as her grey eyes glowed “That took me hours to catch!” she yelled running out the door.
