5 CHAPTER FIVE

The first part of the journey was unbearable that Alpha felt sick to the core; no one said a word as the each seemed to be in their own words, and even a glance in each others' direction was like trespassing the cursed grounds in the center.

Lost in thought, Alpha did not notice the once blue and orange skies changing to a dark starless sky until the carriage came to a halt making everyone tense and curios "I'll go check it out" Josephine said leaving no room for arguments.

Josephine was a beautiful happy fellow back in the days with her black short hair and blue eyes, she was called a happy rain cloud because she always helped the farmers water their crops with her magic, but that was until her brother and mother were attacked and murdered that the once happy rain cloud turned into a thunderous earth shaking hurricane.

"Why did we stop, your majesties?" Josephine asked bowing to the king of the south and the young prince "we are camping out due to get some rest and the horses need theirs as well" King Quince said gesturing his hand to the beautiful lady before him to rise "Alright, thank you your highness. I will update my lady" Josephine said bowing one last time and disappearing back into the large carriage.

"Your ladyship, his royal highness has given us time to rest and the horse to regenerate" Josephine said getting everyone's attention "Thank you Josephine," Alpha trailed off looking at Rodrick" Come Sir Rodrick, lets ask the king of his arrangements" she said sending a small smile at her best friend and Butler who in return beamed at him 'her ladyship is feeling much better' he thought following after her as she walked to where the king was standing.

The king has never seen or talked to the lady of the East also known as the last daughter of the lion age even though they have been in the same place for a long time, but he noticed the lady did not talk that much and he wouldn't want to put her in such an uncomfortable situation. So, this was a once in a life time thing.

"Your highness" Alpha greeted him with a bow and pride filled the old man's soul "may I as about the arrangements?" She asked standing at her full height and looking around the place that seemed to be a dense forest "ah yes, Our sand builders are getting ready to build us a small castle. If that fits your ladyship?" the King questioned not wanting to make a fool out of himself.

Alpha squeaked and clamped her gloved hands together "Sand builders?! Can I see them in action?" She inquired happily making the King smile, 'from all that he said she only wants to see the sand builders' he thought "as you please" The king gestured to the prince who was enjoying the trees and all the green surrounding them "Aston! Here will direct to the area" King Quince said and the Prince happily agreed without knowing the reason.

"Rodrick, go back in the carriage and help get my bag for my night gown and sweets" Alpha ordered the man who complied even though he wanted to stick closer to his lady incase of wild beasts, the king walked away leaving the two on their own.

Alpha wasn't good at making friends her age, she could stand on her hands but when it came to making friends it was like not knowing whether orange is a color or a fruit.

"Am supposed to show you the sand builders, correct?" Aston asked mastering all his confidence through his words, Alpha nodded feeling shy all of a sudden "come on, your ladyship your escort awaits" Aston playfully bowed with his hands stretched out making the lady laugh.

"We shall" Alpha played along following the prince into the shady part of the forest making Alpha frown 'Aren't they going the wrong way?' she thought, she could have sworn that she saw sand dancing in the air in the other direction, so where was he leading her?

All of a sudden Alpha hits a wall stumbling backwards until her buttocks kiss the ground with too much pressure, before she could even get a word out, a small weird smelly cloud popped in front of her nostrils making her vision blurry. The last thing she heard as the darkness embraced her was "We've got the Lion's cub"
