139 Ace and Queen

The noon skies were clear. The wind from the school window folded Eden's face. So warm and comfy. Eden turned her face to the sound of the basketball team dribbling the ball on the outdoor court. They looked happy. The cheers and laughter echoed on the second floor, where Eden's class was.

It's been a year since the last battle with Fenrir. Now Eden was in her third grade at high school. Eden sighed long, a lot of memory about Ace filling her daily life at school. 

"Ace..." Eden looked at the desk where Ace had used it when he was in school. The basketball captain Ace, was so handsome and cool. every girl adored him including Eden. Not his name and existence only could be remembered in memory.

"Now you're not in this world anymore." Eden almost cried but suddenly a pat on the shoulder, making Eden flinch.

"What are you thinking, E? Why so sad?" Bianca was back with a hand full of snacks. 

"No, I'm not." Eden immediately hid her sad face from Bianca.
