7 Chapter 7 * Raelin

I slowly opened my eyes, and I was blinded by the light in the room. I hissed when I felt the throbbing pain at my shoulder. Someone squeezed my hand and I felt sparks.

I looked at the person and he's the most handsome man I've ever seen. I look at his dark brown eyes. I studied his bold feature that were perfectly place on his face. And those lips, I just want to sit up and kiss those lips of his.

He has a long black hair tide up into a pony. It looked so soft that I just want to touch them. His shoulders were so wide. I already knew he was fit. I could see his muscles under his shirt. I just want to rip that shirt of his.

"How are you feeling?" He suddenly asked and judging to the slight grin plastered on his faced I guessed he notice that I was checking him out making me blush in embarrassment.

"Wa-water." I said as I felt how my throat is like sandpaper and my tongue is so dry.

He reached the glass of water on the table and help me sit up and drink the water with a straw.

"Who are you? Where are my friends?" I quickly ask.

"My names Xavier. Your friends are on their way."

"How long have I been out?"

"You have been sleeping for the past two days. You lost a lot of blood when that wolf bit your shoulder."

The door to the room had flung open and my friends came inside and behind them are three guys who are attractive might I add but not as attractive as Xavier.

"Raelin, I'm glad your awake." Faerien says.

"How are you feeling?" Ariana asked.

"I'm fine except for my shoulder, it still hurts."

The door opened again, and a doctor came towards my bed.

"How are you feeling Luna?"

"My shoulder still hurts, and my name is not Luna."

"Uhm, can you guys give us a moment?" Faerien asked the guys.

The guys nodded and even the doctor walk out to the door.

"You know they can still hear us when we speak." I mind link to Faerien.

"I know, but we don't want them to get suspicions, when we zoned out."

"Ariana, Ariane both of you needs to talk about what they want to hear. So they can't suspect a thing." I ordered them.

"As you wish." They both said.

"What happened when I was out?" I asked the twins.

I know that this room is not soundproof at all. The twins started to explain everything that happened after I got bitten.

"Now, tell me Faerien what happened after I blacked out?"

"Alpha Xavier had brought you here to the pack hospital when you black out and he also already told us about their kind."

"Well seeing as we already saw them shift, they have to tell you anyway."

"Yes, and Raelin, did you feel the sparks when he holds you?"

"Yes, I did. How about you and the twins did you find your mates?"

"We also did. Ariana's mate is one of the twins Xavi. Ariane's mate is Xavion. I'm mated to Mark, the head warrior. Raelin the girls and I knew that your feelings are much stronger than we are to our mates. Do you have control?"

"Yes, as long as he doesn't touch me that much, I can still control myself, but remember the silver bracelet I gave to Jana?"

Yes, I remember I felt part of your life force is in there. Why?

I think it’s no longer in the bracelet, I felt that part of me is already in my mate’s hand. No wonder why I can easily visit him into his dreams.

But that would mean he saw it going through him. Would that make him suspicious.

Yeah I know he saw it, but I know he does not remember going through him because I also put a memory spell in it. He will then remember after he give it back to me. Does anyone of them know who we are?

"No, not yet. You did train us not to use our abilities when this thing happens."

"Yeah, but now I had to wait a couple more weeks to heal my shoulder."

"Well, that's for sure we also can't pour any potion at our scratches. They might get suspicious if they saw that our scratches are already healed that fast."

I nodded at her, and we now focused on the twins.

"So, Rae what's your decision?" Ariane suddenly asked.

"I don't know girls. This thing is big, we need time for us to decide."

"Okay, whatever you say. We will always stick together." Faerien says.

"We need to go back home." I spoke.

The door then immediately pushed open as our mates and the doctor are at the doorframe.

"No, you can’t, you will be safer here." Xavier growled using his Alpha voice as the three guys crossed their arm over their chest.

"I'm sorry but you're not the boss of us. And were going back home. If you really want us to fully accept you. You better let us go." I said with a stern looked.

"But-"

"No buts, we need time to think. And if you think we would run away from you, don't worry we won’t. We just need time to process all this."

"Fine. But I will have guards around your house."

"I'm alright with that. Now can I get out now?" I asked the doctor.

"Of course, Luna you can, but you can't move your shoulder too much or the stitches will come off. If that happens you can come back here, and we will restitch it. I'm giving you painkillers for the pain. And as for the scratches on your legs and arms it can heal naturally. And don't skip your meals. You need to have your energy back."

"Of course. I will Doc." I tell her.

She carefully took off the needle's out of my arm and I carefully get out of the bed. The girls help me get into the bathroom and I took off the hospital gown and change to the clothes that I brought when we came here.

After a quick change of clothes, we head to the pack house and the omega gave us something to eat. The guys are in front of us just staring.

"Look you can visit us any time you want, but you need to understand that this isn't easy for us."

"We know that you just can't control your feelings around him." Ariana mind links me.

The guys just nodded. We finished eating and we went back upstairs into the room and grab our bags. Faerien took my keys because I can't drive when my shoulder is injured.

The guys are at the living with a few wolves with a sad expression. We walked out the door and head to our cars. We got in and Faerien start the ignition and drive off.

"Ariana and Ariane, I need you to scout at Xavier's borders tonight. See if anything is suspicions. We knew that the rouges did not just come here and attacked Xavier's pack."

The twins nodded. We were currently at the library; the room is soundproof. So, the wolves outside can't hear what we are talking about.

"But you should also need to heal your wounds, you can't use your abilities if you're not fully healed."

"Of course, we can grab one of the potions that are in the underground when were done here."

"Does Xavier and his men catch any of the rouges while I was out?"

"I'm afraid not Rae, he ordered the warriors to kill every single rouge that are in the area knowing his mate was pretty hurt because of them."

"I just wished he hadn't done that. We could have interrogated one of them."

"We can see if we could capture one of them near the borders. I heard one of the warriors, that since the attacked a few more rouges had been sniffing the area."

"Just make sure to use your invincibility, we can't allow the pack to see any of you two scouting the area."

"Can we let out our inner form? Our ears have been itching since we found our mates."

"Yes, you may. Just don't let the guards capture you. And remember just because where not at the pack house that doesn't mean you can ignore your mates. You can still go and have some time with your mates, we all know that we can't keep them for too long."

They nodded and we got out the room. The twins went to the underground and get ready. Me and Faerien went to our rooms. I went outside to my balcony that's facing at the fountain.

The wind was blowing through the trees and my nose hit the scent of my mate. I slowly scanned the area and there I was met by my mate's wolf Golden eyes. My mate's wolf emerges at the trees seeing that I already saw him. He's fur is jet black making him invisible through the night. I stare at him one more time and I went back inside my room and take a deep breath to calm my nerves.

"This harder than I thought."
