6 Chapter 6 *Xavier
I jumped at the rouge that was holding one of my pack warriors and hold its head down using my black paw as my teeth bite down on its windpipe killing it instantly. I look around and pretty much there are lifeless rouges around the clearing. The smell of the rouges hit my nose and I felt disgusted.
"Pile up the bodies and burn them up." I ordered through the pack link.
A bunch of yeses were heard, and the pack warriors starts to pile up the bodies.
"Xavier, where are you?" Xena asked and I sense a panicked in her voice.
"We're at the north border at the clearing, were just burning up the rouges. Why?"
"Come here quick there are rouges here at the backyard. The twins and a few of the women are holding a line but there are so many of them. I don't think we can hold on much longer."
"We're coming. Hold on."
"Everyone let's go back to the pack house. Now!"
We bolted through the woods to the pack house.
"What's going on Alpha?" Jack asked through the link.
"Xena just mind linked me. The pack house is under attack. There are rouges at the backyard." I answered.
"But how did they pass us?" Mark asked.
"That must be a set up, they knew were all going to the clearing." Dave says.
Were almost at the pack house and then we heard sounds of growling and shouting. The smell of rouges hit my nose and blood. But there is something else, an intoxicating scent hit my nose and I only knew one thing.
"MATE!" Danger shouts in my head.
I rushed to the backyard and as we step through the tree's, we saw a few lifeless rouges on the ground and some of my packs were injured. I looked up and there she is my mate.
She's gorgeous, she has a milky white skin, and it looks so smooth. I just want to touch that skin of hers. I sniff her scent again and stiffen she's a human, but I don't care human or not she's still my mate.
She was wearing a monokini that shows off too much of her curves and skin. But she's hurt, she's bleeding she held a knife, and two rouges are circling her. I let out a menacing growl which I made a mistake because then my mate looks at me.
My breath faltered when my mate looked up. Her dark green eyes were fascinating. I just wanted to get lost in them.
I see a wolf notices the distraction of my mate and he pinned her down, he then sinks his teeth into her shoulder. My mate let out a bloody scream and I see red. I jumped after the rouge and bit his legs, and he howls in pain as he let go of my mate. I then bit his throat. I looked at the other rouge and my warriors took him out.
I looked at my mate and three other girls went to her side. I looked around and the rest of the rouges are already dead. Without thinking I shifted and run to her and carried her bridal style.
As soon as I touch her, I felt the sparks I looked at her and her eyes shut and her breathing is staggered as she lay limp in my arms. I lift her up and took off running towards the pack doctor.
"Hey, where are you taking her?" One of the human asked maybe one of her friends.
I ignored her and I run faster to the pack doctor. As I went there the pack doctor instructed me to lay her down at the surgical bed.
She looks at her shoulder and there are 14 holes at her back and front. She has scratches on her back and legs.
"I'm sorry Alpha but I need you to leave the room." The nurse says as she went to proceed assisting the pack doctor.
As it pains me to leave my mate it has to be done so the doctor can focused on y mate, I pushed the white doors and walked out of the surgery room and waited patiently.
"Hey, where is she? Where's Raelin?" The sapphire haired girl says as she came towards me.
"She still at the surgery room."
I looked at her and there are two more girls behind her. The two girls had the same features they must be Ariana and Ariane. And behind them are Mark, Xavier, and Xavion.
"What are you three doing here?" I asked through the pack link.
"Where here for our mate Alpha." Mark says.
"Who?" I asked shocked.
The three of them point at the three girls that are in front of me. Who would have thought. I looked again the girls, and they are still wearing their bikinis and they have scratches on their legs and arms.
"You should all go see one of the doctors. They need to check on your wounds. Don't worry, I'll call you girls when the doctor comes out of the room." I assured them.
They hesitated but the guys pulled them and head to one of the doctors to treat their wounds. After a couple of minutes, the girls came back already dressed and wrap in bandages.
"How is she?" One of the twins asked.
And as a cue the pack doctor came out the surgery room. I immediately run to her.
"How is she?" I asked.
"She lost a lot of blood Alpha. We managed to stitch her wounds but she's okay. She just needs to rest." She explained.
"Can we see her?" The sapphire haired girl asked.
Maybe later hon, the nurses are preparing to transfer her to another room. Why don’t you all go to the cafeteria, I’m sure the Alpha needs to explain to you what happened today.
The girls looked at each other, then nodded to us. The boys then lead them to the cafeteria.
"Is she the Luna the Alpha?" She asked.
"Yes, she is."
"Congratulations Alpha. She's a tough woman. No human can ever survive that bite." She speaks.
I growled at that. She bowed and went to check her other patients.
"Thank you for saving Raelin. I'm Faerien." The sapphire haired girl says as I sat to where they were seated.
"Raelin...I love it." Danger said.
"I'm Ariana and this is my twin sister Ariane." One of the twins says.
"The names Xavier, this is Mark, and this two are my twin younger brothers Xavi and Xavion."
"Look I know this is a bad time, but the doctor is right, you need to explain to us whatever happened at the backyard."
I sighed I've better tell them.
"We are Werewolves." I spoke.
"Okay. That explains why you guys change into a wolf." Ariane says in a duh tone.
"Please, continue." Faerien says.
"For us werewolves we have a Goddess, the Moon Goddess our creator. We are divided into packs but the ones we fought today are the rouges. They are a soulless killing machine. And in each pack, there had to be an Alpha, Beta, Third in command and the Luna."
"So, what's your position?" Ariana asked.
"I'm the Alpha of the Midnight Pack one of the largest and strongest pack in the country. And Mark is my head warrior."
"Is there anything else we should know about?"
"Yes, because we are small in numbers than humans. The Moon Goddess created mates for us to reproduce and love. Werewolf's mate is like a soulmate, once a werewolf found he's or her mate there isn't anything you wouldn't do for them. They become there everything and anything."
"How would a werewolf find his or her mate?"
"You can smell their scent, it’s an intoxicating smell that can be addicted. Second is the eye contact. Lastly the first touch, when you touch them, you can feel sparks. After that you can now complete the mating process."
"Mating process?"
"Yes, mating process the first stage of the mating process is marking which you can imprint a mark on the neck by biting and letting everyone knows that person is already claimed. The next stage is basically love making, where they can be one. And they will be able to communicate with each other."
"Have you already found your mate?"
"Yes, I have."
"Who?" They all asked.
Raelin.
"How about you three?" Ariane asked.
"We already have, and my mate is you, Ariane." Xavion says.
"And your mine." Xavi says at Ariana.
"And you're my mate Fae." Mark says.
"Well, that's a lot to take in. But you guys must know that this isn't easy for any of us. I'm sorry but we cannot decide this thing unless Raelin wakes up."
We nodded I also told them about the heat and rejection. Now that they knew about our kind it’s up to them to decide either accept us or not.
We all nodded, a nurse then came to us, telling us that we can now see Raelin, he tells us what room she is in before going to a different direction. The girls then bolted to where the room is which leave us four to the cafeteria.
Who would have thought that we all found our mate at the same time and in this kind of situation. " Xavi says.
We then stood up and run towards my mate’s room.
I grasped then handle, pushing the door open to my mate's room at the pack hospital. Everything came into view. Needles, monitors, liquids, sofa, a hospital bed, and my sleeping mate. Her friends are at her side. She looked so pale and frail.
"My poor mate." Danger whimpered.
We stayed for a couple of hours until I looked at the time and it’s getting late.
"You need to go to your rooms. It’s getting late I'll stay here."
"No can do, you maybe Raelins mate but were her friends. We all stay together. She needs us when she wakes up."
"Fine. You girls can stay."
The girls lay at the sofa, the boys went back to the pack house. I sat beside my mate while caressing her face gently.
"She's gorgeous. I'm so proud of her. She manages to fight the rouges. She protected the pack." Danger says.
"I am too."
Xena told me that after Raelin manage to get the children and pregnant women at the pack house. She and her friends went back at the backyard and fought the rouges. She will be a great Luna.
