1 Sky, I need a job
A vast office was in a white and black interior that looked stunning. The black illustrates the strength and the white has a softness, the combination was designed impeccably.
On a white leather chair, a lady was sitting like a duchess wearing a purple suit looking gorgeous and aloof. She worked through the different files intently with an indifferent expression.
Sky Harley, heiress of the Harley companies works in different business industries. It's nearly a year since Sky took over her Dad's position in the company. Many doubted her skills and management because she looked petite and bland when she was appointed.
But she obeyed her father to work and left her past behind. She worked hard for the progress and welfare of the company and its hard-working employees. Sooner Harley reached new heights of glory which shut the mouths of disbelievers.
Sky informed her assistant Lily through an intercom to arrange a meeting with the executives in half an hour regarding the upcoming project. Then she went near the coffee machine in her office to brew it for herself.
She stood by the floor-to-ceiling window, looking afar, sipping her hot coffee. She was lost in her thoughts without showing any emotions on her face.
One might think she was tailor-made for the position, but only a few knew, she had left behind far too much to be standing there.
Her mobile ringing tone returned her to reality from her daze. She took her phone and was stupefied after seeing the caller's name. She never thought the person would ever give her a call one day.
She picked up the call and sounded normal but she couldn't conceal the astonishment in her bright eyes. She answered him, "Hey Andy! It's been a long time!"
Unexpected to Sky's instinct, the caller's voice was rather dull, "Hi Sky! How are you?"
Sky's brows faintly crooked at the voice, "I'm Good. You say, what happened? Why do you sound so low? Is everything alright?" She cursed herself for being attentive and good to him every time.
With a down spirit, he directly asked her, "Sky, I need a job. Can you help me to join your company or anywhere else?"
Sky never expected to get this type of request from him. She always saw him happy, helping others, and enjoying life.
Worry apparent in her eyes, she gathered herself and asked, "Of course, I will help you. What type of job are you looking for? If you don't know, we are not into any pharmacy-related industries." Andy has studied Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences and was working in the same industries.
Nevertheless, Andy's response was, "I'm fine with anything which feeds my family without selling the house."

Hearing no response for a long time, Andy assumed she wouldn't help him. He said, "It's okay if you can't help me out, Sky. I will try somewhere else."
Sky snapped out and replied unhurriedly, "Shut up and meet me in my office whenever you can. Get it?"
