chapter 1
-1 week later- Monday driving to school.
I spent the last week getting used to everything, having a new body is pretty trippy luckily am the same height so at least that's good other than that I also looked around the house, it's a nice two-bedroom living room and kitchen, a backyard and a garage where I found my new car a nice mat black Audi r8. Luckily, I had all the paperwork I would ever need in my inventory. I also explored the town while scanning with my observation Haki to get a nice mental map of the area and all the important key points, like the reserve and the Cullens house. I also did some shopping for essentials like a phone and laptop and some clothes, not forgetting to stock up on food and snacks.
Getting out after parking the car and noticing few people around because of me arriving early, I head to the principal's office to get my schedule and then go to class, entering and seeing no one is here yet I take the protagonist seat and look out the window until class starts. in the meantime, I decided to open the shop and look for something that might pique my interest, something I did a lot these past few days and I already marked some nice things I am 100% getting as soon as I get the points, Which is what I've been thinking a lot about. I need points, a lot of points and to get them I need to hunt vampires but I don't want to kill the Cullens after all I need them for the future, and for now, they're worth more to me alive than dead so I need to look somewhere else. That's why I decided to leave town this weekend and hope to find some solo vampires or small covens, thankfully now that I know what vampires feel like with my observation Haki the search will be a lot easier. Soon after the teacher arrives and students start filling in and I notice am getting a few not-so-very discreet glances, something I predicted after all am the new kid in a school where everyone knows everyone else since childhood, but it doesn't bother me they are teenagers and they will forget about me sooner or later especially since I have zero plans to mingle with them, I just hope they leave me alone.
And like that the week passed, I saw the Cullens but didn't talk to them I also made sure to make my mind completely invisible after all Edward can't read my mind if he doesn't even know it exists it also helps that we don't have any classes together, I do have classes with emmet and Rosalie though. I also released the biggest sigh of relief when I first saw the Cullens and didn't find any extra members like Edyth or some other girl and I didn't have the cliché soulmate bond bullshit that every twilight fanfic out there has. I don't want to deal with that type of headache anytime soon, after all, I don't even want to imagine what having sex with what is basically a porcelain doll feels like so thank God I dodged that bullet.
That weekend I got in my car and drove out and just let my observation Haki on full blast hoping to pick up something, sadly there is only so far I can go because I have to go back to school on Monday, you have no idea how many times I wanted to just say fuck it and dropout, after all, I don't need to go to school but not only is being in that school the best place for me so that I don't miss when cannon starts but also because a part of me wanted to finish high school after all I had to drop out in my last year of high school in my past life because of health issue and this is the perfect chance to finish it as a last goodbye to the past me and finally be able to start fresh in the next world, it may sound stupid but it means something to me and that's all that matters. And so, I fell into a routine of going to school during the week and driving around in my car on the weekend after a while I just found it relaxing to drive and listen to music so I just decided to enjoy it and if I stumble on a vampire then that's good but if I don't that's also fine. But after a couple of weeks, I finally sensed one and immediately drove to it. Now I would love to tell you it was some hard battle that made me realize that I wasn't invincible and that I barely survived, but I can't. vampires in this world are very weak, normal humans are F rank, and humans with special abilities like Bella are E rank. While for vampires the normal ones are D rank and the ones with powers are D+, while new Borns are C- and after buying the skills on my first day here I ranked up in both body and energy to D+ making me already stronger than them and that's without using any skills just pure physical. let alone if we consider the fact I can create, control, and turn into fire Wich is the biggest weakness of the vampires of this world and as far as I know, the only and quickest way to kill them. So, no it was super easy he didn't even know what hit him before turning into a pile of ash on the ground and being swept by the wind. After that time, I didn't change how I did things and kept up my routine, after all, I didn't know when cannon will start, all I knew was that Bella came sometime after school had already started.
While driving I would sometimes sense a vampire or two and kill them just as easily as I did the first one. still, there were barely any vampires at all. I don't know if there aren't that many vampires in the first place or if it's just this part of the world that was lacking, anyway I got enough points to buy some skills that I wanted and that will help me immensely in the future, but still, the more useful skills are still out of my reach, but it's okay after all it's just a matter of time before the biggest buffet of quality vampires arrives at my doorstep and I can't wait.
The skills I bought were [enhanced mind] that enhances my mind in every way, from memory to comprehension to retention and all that nice stuff. next are [unarmed martial arts mastery], [weapon martial arts mastery], and finally [firearms mastery], they do exactly what you think they do and it's amazing. The final skill is one I really wanted [chi master (kung fu panda)], yeah that's right Kong Fu panda chi, I always taught it was amazing it can heal, strengthen and even steal other's chi it's amazing and lets not even talk about chi blocking that shit's cool AF. so yeah,' that's pretty much everything I did these past few weeks, and as I park my car in the parking lot I spot a maroon-colored truck with a cute brown heard girl inside, and I know that finally, cannon is here.
