Based on the English translation, this is a good story, but problems begin to appear around chapter 41. The problems, which I hope are fixed after my current progress, are (1) inconsistent/lazy name management and (2) punctuation. Both suggest this section is MTL without an editor's proofing.

I have read till 300 chapters and find it pleasing to read. Till 300 chapters, this book has strong protagonists and doesn't have crazy scheming ,drugging (I really don't know if drugs are really so cheap that so many novels use it abundantly), no siblings/adopted siblings snatching ,etc. Some females are also friends, not every female becomes jealous and even if some ladies don't like her they don't resort to evil plots. Grey characters exist and they are not evil. Phew!! Most novels have Mary Sues or OPs and Evil scums aplenty with scheming and face slapping intensified. while this novel also has face slaps and good and bad characters, the degrees are moderate to mild. Except for Mengfu's know-it-all, the other factors are tolerable and relatable. All in all, if you want a novel with strong Protagonists and without crazy dogblood dramas and scheming or rapes then this novel fits the expectations.

Don't waste your time and money. This is coming from a person who has bought and read the whole book. More than 80 percent of this book is either machine translated or just plain unedited. Some of the chapters have repeating paragraphs. And this book has no ending. Like either the author gave up and just wanted an ending or there's more chapters or a 2nd book somewhere out there. Now the story itself and characters are amazing. If you have money or time to waste, go right ahead and read. The ML and MC are green flags, but they never go beyond a kiss and never confirmed their relationship.

So I think my review can be summed up with a narrative. Reading this on the way home on the bus, my battery ran out. For the next half hour, I wss 9n the edge of my seat, wanting to know what happened next. Its been a long time since I've read a story on WN that made me think that. Will definately pick this up if it is selected. Must read
