17 Chapter 16- Rest

Note- First of all thank you for all the support you guys are giving to this book, its fun reading your comments and I also appreciate very much your suggestions, its helping a lot, also thanks for the stones you guys are throwing, it hurts in a good way hehe, not an M, anyway, as much as I want to give a bonus chapter, I cant as I'm an author far from home(pun intended) and was writing this chapter on an old cracked phone, and writing became very difficult but I will write a lot of chapter once I get home, hope you guys like the chapter.

"That is all for the creation of Clash of Clans, in this game, everything is fair, yes, you  can use gems to accelerate your buildings or even buy some resources but it doesn't matter, In the world of Clash of Clans your mind is your greatest weapon, now, let's see who is the best and who is the strongest, from an individual to a clan, prove yourselves, Next week, Clash of Clans will be released and we all will meet there"

As Tanaka said those words, an epic background music played at the back and then the video ended, there was a silence among the group as they finished the video, they were staring dazedly at their phones not knowing what to say.

Hikigaya stared at the phone screen for a few more minutes before snapping back to reality.

"Ah, that was embarrassing, I was imagining myself being the strongest after watching the video"

Hikigaya sighed and buried his head in his arms, he was laying down on the couch, he didn't expect for the video to be so amazing, especially with Tanaka's commentary, he actually watched the whole 45 minute video without being distracted.

He then checked the group chat and saw everyone was in the same state as him and were looking for Tanaka, but looking at the time, Hikigaya knew that Tanaka was already asleep and they wouldn't receive any response no matter what they did.

He had been with Tanaka since they were young so he knew a lot about Tanaka, and one of those is that once he fell asleep, he won't wake up until morning no matter what you do to him.

Chika: "What an amazing video! I felt my blood boiling as I was watching the end! I opened my Clash of Clans unknowingly after watching the video! But Ishigami! How dare you attack me once again!"

Shirogane: "Ooh, it was an amazing video, I don't know a lot about it but it was certainly engaging watching the video"

Ishigami: "Wahaha! It's your fault for not looking at your village!"

Shinomiya: "I never showed any interest in games before but this made me very interested"

Chika: "Go offline if you are a man then! I want to get my revenge!"

Hachiman: "I heard from Tanaka that everything will be reset back to 0 once the game comes out in public"

Ishigami: "..."

Chika: "..."

Naoto: "Eh? You guys didn't know? It was the reason why others aren't playing it that much"

Masuzu: "We told them that but they didn't listen and kept grinding in the game"

Shirogane: "I will play it once it comes out, its a good way to pass time"

Shinomiya: "how about we create a clan of our own President?"

Shirogane: "Oh, that is a great idea, I will talk with Tanaka tomorrow about that,. How about you two? @Chika @Ishigami"

Hachiman: "They won't reply, I think knowing their accounts will be reset made them depress"

Shirogane: "I see, let's just talk about it tomorrow then"

"..."

The group chat was very lively after watching the video but of course, they weren't the only ones who have that kind of reaction, many people who came to watch some videos have this video popped out on their recommended videos and this got them interested immediately.

And so, this created a lot of reactions after watching the video because no one had ever done something like this before, sure, there are some advertisement videos about games but no one has made something like a documentary about it.

Not only was it interesting, it was also humorous that they laughed at every single jokes, they were also quite surprised to find that the man in the screen was actually the creator of the popular Angry Birds that have taken over the Japanese gaming Industry.

And the ones who were excited the most about this is of course, Tanaka's fans who formed after the contest and they were amazed by the video and of course, the new game, it didn't take long for a thread to be created in Bluedit, and became the top thread in a matter of few hours.

Those were the kinds of threads that appeared in the internet and as it was popular, it caught the attention of many people, such as the new company Exodus which job is to make articles about new games and those hidden gems, and so, seeing this, they immediately made an article about it as one of the most anticipated game coming this month.

And yes, they said that because from the video they have watched, this game is very different from other games and has so much potential, though, those were only a few seconds of video about the game, as people with discerning eyes, these people can tell which is a good and a bad game so they were very confident about their article.

Even though it was a new company, Exodus has a lot of subscribers, a total of 600 thousand which is a lot of people, so the next day when they released the article, it garnered the attention of many more people and they also mentioned about the video so many more watched the video.

And the one who was happiest about this is of course, Tanaka, not because of the fame he was getting nor the attention he was getting but the amount of reputation points he was harvesting.

He had just woken up when he decided to open the system and he was surprised to find that he had received 1.5 million reputation points in just a few hours, it was really worth it making those videos!

"I won't use my reputation points yet, I'll let it reach 2 million then do 20x spin"

Tanaka already made his plans, then he went to school, he arrived very early in school and there was only person in the room, which was the new unsociable student Aisaka Taiga, she had been popular since a week ago when she beat up a group of gangsters by herself and also her personality is very scary which earned her the nickname, PalmTop Tiger.

Tanaka saw that she seemed to be invested on her phone and didn't even notice him arriving. Looking over her shoulders, he was surprised to see, it was the video of him, I mean his avatar, it was the video of the Creation of Clash of Clans.

Seeing this, Tanaka ignored her and went to his seat before taking out his phone and looking at the comments at Metube.

Seeing most of the comments are positive, Tanaka couldn't help but smile, this meant that the majority of the people are liking clash of clans. 

Even though it was popular in his past life,  Tanaka had no certainty that the game would have the same popularity it has in this parallel world. 

So seeing that many are anticipating the game made Tanaka sigh in relief,  but this was only the begi-beningnin- benegin- the start as the game wasnt released yet and wont fully know how it would do once it was released. 

But Tanaka knew thinking of these things won't give him any results,  and so he decided to focus on the present.

Next on his plans,  Tanaka wanted to make a slightly bigger game, after all,  he has a big team now.

Though they are a bunch of amateurs, with Tanaka's knowledge from his past life and guidance to these guys, he might even turn these  bunch of amateurs to big shots that will sweep off the entertainment industry. 

If Tanaka wanted he might even be able to turn this group of students and make a company,  in about 2-3 years the company will be successful.

Though Tanaka knew that he cant rush,  they are still students and they have a lot of time,  he might as well use this time to train and teach the others and also slowly build up the fame of the Undertale Entertainment as a brand. 

Anyway with these in mind Tanaka started about his next game,  he wanted a big game but not very difficult to make as to not make things difficult for the undertale members. 

A game that can be made in a few months,  there are actually quite a lot of games that falls in this requirements and also comes from many genres. 

For example,  The portal.

The portal is a popular franchise from Tanaka's past life,  it doesn't have any innovative gameplay nor any crazy graphics,  instead it was a role first person puzzle game with a cool story line and some cranky jokes. 

But what really carried this game is its mind challenging puzzles that will make your brain go at a hundred percent,  it has become so popular that portal 2 and 3 were made.

There are also many different games that Tanaka had in mind,  for example mortal combat,  yes, what a bitch of a world. 

This legendary game does not exist here! You don't know how Tanaka felt when he discovered this. As a kid who started with arcade games,  this was probably the most sinful thing this world has done. 

Heck even street fighter and mario is not here,  remembering these things made Tanaka a little depressed. 

"Ah whatever,  back to thinking"

Tanaka took out his notebook and started listing the games that he could make.

It was August right now,  he could only make a maximum of two games, and both are a little big games.

The Portal

Mortal Combat

Battle Realms

Hitman

Diablo

Those were the list of games Tanaka had in mind,  they were not that difficult to make,  and Tanaka still remembers these games as if they were just yesterday. 

Anyway,  Tanaka didn't choose immediately, for now,  he was just listing the ones that he had in mind,  maybe he will add more in the future.

Tanaka then noticed that almost all of the students had arrived and he was already surrounded by the gang without knowing. 

Seeing him finally waking up from his stupor,  Ishigami hastily grabbed the notebook Tanaka was writing on and looked at what he wrote. 

Ishigami: "New games? "

Tanaka: "Not yet,  im actually choosing what type of game to make next,  those are just options I had in mind"

Ishigami: "You are birthing games like a sow,  you should rest for a month or so,  you don't have to rush, you can also spend some times on other things"

Tanaka: "Like what? "

Ishigami: "I don't know…"

Ishigami shrugged,  he was just mentioning it,  he didnt really have anything in mind. 

Shirogane: "Why don't you try making another song Tanaka?  Or write a novel again just like you did in middle school"

Hachiman: "Oh yeah!  I remembered the basketball book that you stopped writing!  I really liked it!  You said you will only rest for a month but it's been 4 years! That is not a month! "

Tanaka: "Jeez take it easy man,  I just wrote that book for fun,  I never thought it became popular"

Hachiman: "F*ck you! Bring back those memories I made with the characters! Ah! "

Hachiman attacked Tanaka and Ishigami who tried to stop them joined the brawl,  even Shirogane was pulled and it turned to a fun brawl between friends.

Then they stopped when Shinomiya and Chika saw them as they got scolded by them.

But while being scolded,  Tanaka's mind drifted off to somewhere,  their suggestions are actually quite good. 

He was already burnt out after making the Clash of Clans under 2 months and also the Angry birds,  all the time he had been rushing himself and didn't even get a proper rest. 

Thinking about it,  he was just like he was in his past life, moving everywhere like he was running out of time,  like there was no tomorrow. 

'Yes,  I am not that desperate anymore,  I have a lot of time,  and I also have friends around me'

Tanaka took a deep breath and finally,  his shoulders that were always tense finally relaxed and his mind wasn't thinking about work all the time. 

Tanaka: "I guess I'll write a new book"

Everyone froze and looked at him. 

Hachiman: "Stop?  Not continue!? You mother f-"

*Pak! 

"Language! "

Chika, holding a paper fan, slapped Hachiman on the head.
