2 Chapter 1

It all began at primary 4,we were 4 out of the 7 people who were actually fluent in English.(weird flex but OK) So our teacher-------Ms Ho asked us to come out and read to the whole class. "Dylan, Shahirah, Desree and Sofea would you please come out and read the story to the whole class?" "Ok..."we answered hesitantly. We still didn't talk to each other then, so we just stood in front of the class and stared each other awkwardly. Then we started reading," ... I loved to eat the chicken pie my grandmother used to make." Then we burst out laughing. The teacher didn't scold us, she was laughing along! So we just continued on with the story after we laughed till we almost choked. "Thank you, you may go back to your seats now." Then we just walked back, still laughing a bit. During recess, Desree asked if we wanted to go to the canteen together. "Hey guys, do you wanna go eat at the canteen?" She asked awkwardly. "Yeah sure." I replied. "

"Let's get along well" And with that, we went to the canteen.
