5 First day

After chit-chat, all three of them got ready for their first day of the course.

Obviously after the intro of Gu Chunhua and hours of talking they felt connected. And this had made them forget that they were getting late for their classes.

Three of them ran through the corridor to be in the class.

Li Lixin had a hard time catching up with the other two due to a lack of exercise. She was already panting halfway through the corridor. But she made it just in time for the class.

Most of the seats were taken. She saw a seat near a weird-looking guy. As she neared him she could feel the temperature decreasing. The guy emitted a frosty aura.

She sat down next to him with an awkward smile.

"hi," Li Lixin tried to start a conversation to get rid of the awkward situation.

But she got no reaction from the guy.

"Hi, I'm Li Lixin. What's your name?" Li Lixin tried again.

But that too fell on deaf ears. Again no reaction.

The more she tried, the more she got avoided. Finally, she gave in. She pouted and turned around.

" Good morning class, my name is Yun Qiuhui and I will be your class in charge " a lady in her late thirties announced.

The announcement was followed by a lecture.

After a few minutes of listening to the lecture, Li Lixin felt that she can no longer suppress her yawns. It was the first day of class and still, she felt so sleepy.

How was she supposed to complete the course? She thought to herself.

Li Lixin noticed that all the other students including her roommates were carefully listening to the lecture. She could barely keep her eyes open. she pinched herself to keep herself awake, but that seemed to show much effect after all she was too sleepy to exert force while pinching.

In order to prevent falling asleep, she decided to think of something that would distract her for a while.
