10 Chapter 10

Everyone had gone to bed.

Gu Chunhua was trying hard to sleep. But her old memories started haunting her. She never thought she would run into him here. After all, this is another city.

'What is he doing here? Shouldn't he be in City R? Did he find out that I'm here? Is he following me?'

'No. Why would he follow me? Wasn't I just another girl for him? Maybe he is here for business. But what was he doing near my college? Gu Chunhua tossed and turned but was unable to sleep. Her mind was clouded with so many questions.

' Wasn't it enough for him, when he broke my heart and treated me like a plaything. He had shattered my hopes and happiness. Now, what else does this guy want? Doesn't he have enough money.? Why is he here in person?'

Gu Chunhua didn't realize that she had started crying again. Her loud sobs woke her roommates.

Li Lixin wanted to comfort her but decided against it. On the other hand, Wen Jiao who was emotionally indifferent felt irritated. But she decided to keep mum.

After crying for a long Gu Chunhua dozed off and so did her roommates. All three of them were unaware of the problems that they were about to encounter the next day.
