8 Time Traveler. Part two.

Once the doors opened, we found ourselves in a very different dimension. And I have to say, I've never seen a place like this.

It was a spacious dimension that was created in a cosmic style. Matter in this dimension was filled with small stars, and there were galaxies around. But I knew it was just an illusion. Just wallpaper for dimension created by people.

Walking on the glass floor, it was as if we were walking just on the air. And I was once again surprised and admired by the great mind of Sennhandd.

After all, to create other dimensions, it took a lot of effort. Although, in short, to create other dimensions, it was necessary only to be able to use atoms as a constructor.

Sennhandd just invented a way to be able to control atoms and build whatever you want with them. But I won't go into details.

When crowds of people, dressed in leather suits, appeared around us, I realized that we had come to the right place.

When the glass floor led us to a place that resembled a concert hall, I felt someone's icy hand on my cheek.

Turning around, among all this crowd, I saw in front of me a girl with a mask in the form of a cat on her face.

And in that short haircut, the manner of always wearing high heels that looked like they were ready to crush everything around, I realized who it was.

"Evennah, how glad I am to see you," I said.

Taking off her mask, she looked at me with her big and bright green eyes, and then wrinkled her little nose, and clenched her lips in discontent, she combed the red strand of hair back and said, "And you are really ruthless."

"What? Are you really offended by me?"

As she pinched my cheek, she looked at Yundoran and asked, "Why didn't you tell me he was back with us?"

"I only found him recently. Believe me, I wanted to tell you."

Evennah, despite the fact that I knew her recently, still considered me a close friend. After meeting her in the library, we quickly found a common language. But our conversation never changed. It was just about books. But she like biology and chemistry, and I love history and literature.

During all this time in the library, I've only talked to her a few times. And now I realized that she somehow knew Yundoran.

Maybe it's because I know her, but she was very different from the rest of the people.

Today, she was wearing a black jacket and leather pants, and the heavy chain that adorned her slender neck gave her slenderness a certain audacity and rudeness.

I liked her style. And I liked the fact that she didn't particularly like to ask questions about personal issues.

"So, what are you doing here?" she asked, wearing a mask back.

"I decided to see what people were interested in."

"You'll be disappointed," she replied, and disappeared into the crowd.

That's where our conversation ended.

"How do you know her?" I asked, though soon, my voice was drowned out by the loud cries of the TV presenter.

But Yundoran didn't hear me.

Taking places in the front row, I looked around and I remembered the picture on which the ancient theater was depicted.

It was like a theater. That's just the seats hovered in the air, and there was space around. Well, ahead was a stage in the form of a thin line of roads with many obstacles.

And believe me, this place was more like a stage where a person experienced fate and played with life and death.

These road lanes and barriers in the form of fiery tunnels and mirrors were designed to race. But the goal of this race was not to get to the finish line first. The purpose of these races was to test themselves and their strength. It was a game where the participants of the race remembered death and tried to feel their immortality in practice.

And all the people who sat with frozen eyes and with their breaths stopped in anticipation, in fact, expected to see what they had never seen before.

They expected to see a mere mortal man.

And this show and everything that happened next was broadcast everywhere. But most of all, I was struck by the fact that people were willing to spend ages just looking at how the racing cars crashed and lit in the blue flame, and as at the end, the person, half alive, goes out and falls in front of the audience.

"Ladies and gentlemen! I'm very happy to see you all today! I know you can't wait to see the real fun, just like me! But don't worry, it'll start soon! And for those who are here for the first time, I will say that you are ready to see a lot of things that will surprise or frighten you! But I know why you're here. You're here to be scared and surprised! After all, we are all human beings and we have all managed to get tired of immortality and this tedious eternity!"

Hedid nothaveanyhaironhishead, but he had a strange tattoo instead of them.

I didn't like his voice and the way he behaved. I'd say he's faking it. Never before in my life, have I seen such a deceitful smile.

Waving his arms, he screamed and laughed every now and then. And people, as bewitched, looked at him with amazement.

"All this dimension belongs to him," Yundoran said, pointing to the show's host.

"I've never seen him before."

"Because he lives here. He does not go beyond that dimension."

"He's a great man!" cried the man who was sitting next to me.

No sooner had I said anything, as suddenly, everything around was plunged into darkness and in front of us lit bright light bulbs that were hanging right in the air.

These light bulbs flew black and forth, thus creating the image of small birds.

And then, flying in all directions, they completely went out and the race area, with all five participants waiting for their loud applause, appeared.

I noticed that all these drop-shaped cars were the same color and there was no license plate on them. But anyone could see the man behind the wheel.

Among the five people were two women and three men. And each of them looked very happy.

I was frightened by their glass look, which was directed ahead.

When the host of this show raised his hand, strange music began to play around. It was not a song, no melody, but just rhythmic sounds of drums and some strange noise.

People started clapping again. And when they stopped, holding their breath, the TV presenter lowered his hand and five racing cars moved forward.

I was struck by the speed at which they were going forward. It was almost like the speed of light.

All five cars were on the same level. And no one tried to overtake the other.
