A little bit of time passed then they finally arrived. The driver opened the door for her and at the front door of the hotel waited for the owner, Mr. Princeton.

She gave the driver a hug as a sign of her thanks, "I hope to see you again."

The driver smiled at her then he tipped his hat. She left him to approach Mr. Princeton who was wearing a black blouse with white trousers and a vest that matches.

"So nice to finally meet you." Mr. Princeton kissed her hand.

"Oh, the pleasure is all mine." She chuckled.

"I hope it wasn't a hassle to attend." He scratched the back of his head, "I suppose you were exhausted?"

"I was, but now, I can only feel the excitement of being here." She smiled.

Both of them entered the hotel and there she saw how extravagant it was. She was awestruck and Mr. Princeton could only fathom how simple her life was.

"Why was there a ring with the invite?" She asked.

"Ah... It's to differentiate members, special guests and regular guests." He explained. "Gold for those who are members, silver for people invited here, by members or special guests as we call them and those who don't wear are regular guests."

"If I'm a special guest, I can do anything I want like members?" She clarified.

"Yes but no. You see, you need to be accompanied by a member to get all the benefits." He explained. "You can use that ring and just say my name as your chaperone then you can get everything you want in this hotel. But once you misplace that, I cannot guarantee I'll provide a replacement. That's a lifetime pass so take care of it."

"All right, I understand." She nodded. "Anyway, why'd you invite me here? And why doctor?"

"I knew you wouldn't know me cause my brother barely talks about family." He stopped walking to face her, "But the thing is, he cannot shut up about you."

Once she heard those words, her face turned red and she stammered, "W-wait... Wait... Wha-what?!"

"Thank you for taking care of that spoiled brat." He smiled at her, "He finally learned how to do chores."

"Wait, seriously?" She laughed.

"But when he comes home for holidays, he really tries to cook food that according to him are your favorites." He shrugged.

"Woah... I am shocked." She giggled. Someone tapped her shoulder from behind and it startled her. She was about to throw hands when she examined the man. "Wait, what?!"

"You invited her?!" He yelled at his brother.

"My party, my guest, my rules." Mr. Princeton shrugged.

"You finally took off that white coat, huh?" She teased.

"You're still living up to your name, huh?" He retorted.

"Aww... Roomie's gonna be mad..." She mocked.

"I definitely won't help you when you get sick." He growled.

"That's against your oath though." She laughed.

Mr. Princeton tapped his brother's shoulder then he laughed, "You argue with her like you don't care... What are you, a-"

"Don't you dare continue that sentence Charlie Princeton." He told his brother.

"Ooh, he feisty..." She pinched his cheeks, "Don't be mad at your brother, now roomie, he was just telling me stories."

"I'll leave you two for a moment. I'll just go to the casino. You don't mind showing your roommate around, right?" Mr. Princeton left before his brother could even have the chance to agree.

"Hey, show me around!" She clung unto his arm. "Maybe we can have a drink or two while we're at it."

"You're one curious girl, are you?" He raised a brow at her.

"And this curious girl is itching to become knowledgeable of her surroundings." She pointed to the open space.

"You dress ever so elegantly yet you are in no way elegant." He rolled his eyes at her.

She laughed at her roommate, "While we walk, let me ask why you didn't tell me that you were related to Mr. Princeton."

"Ah, I just don't like talking about my family much but they seem to enjoy hearing about you." He shrugged. "They all tell me that you changed my life as if I was a good-for-nothing piece of shit."

She looked at his finger to see a gold ring that has never seen before, "You never told me you were a member."

"Again, I don't like talking about family. My brother invites me over and I have to wear this ring just to get access to shit without showing my ID." He sighed.

"At least you were born rich." She looked away in dismay.

"Yet they don't accept the fact that I want to save lives." He lowered his head.

"You know, it's better to talk about this with a bottle." She smiled.

"Fine, let's go to the bar." He sighed. "We'll pass by the casino first so you could at least know where to find my brother."

They both walk to the casino and she was still clinging to him like his lover. They approached Mr. Princeton by the roulette and she tapped his shoulder, "Ah, Mr. Princeton, we just came to say hi cause your brother wanted me to know where I could find you."

"Oh, miss! Patton wants you to have this." He took out a purple envelope and gave it to her and without a second thought, he went back to his game.

She let go of her roommate's arm to open the envelope. She saw folded paper in it and she read its contents.

[Such a curious woman you are. I didn't know you were a member of the Princeton clan. Anyway, one hint as to who I am, look at the bottom right.]

She looked at the bottom to see a golden crown imprinted on the paper. 'This isn't a hint at all... I swear, I'll die of curiosity before I find the writer.'

"Mr. Princeton, do you know who Patton is?" She asked, holding the letter in front of him.

"Please, call me Charlie, it's weird when there are two Princeton's around you." He tossed the dice. "To answer your question, yes... I do know Patton."

Can you guess what the name of the roommate is? Hint: His name is parallel to his brother's name.
