"You saw her? where?"

A guy stood in the middle of Oliver's office with his head bowing down, eyes glued to the ground as he nodded his head without looking up when Alexander spoke with his eyebrows frowned sitting on a chair as his one hand rested on the table while the other hand indicated the guy to come closer

"You know what are you saying? you saw Amelia Oliver? are you sure about that?"

Alexander was a little surprised at how sure was that young guy was yet he was so scared of Alexander that he didn't even try to look up even once. he was just noting his head at Alexander's every question.

Alexander was sitting in Oliver's office for the last 1 hour as he waited for Oliver to finish his meeting and come back but before Oliver could get back to his office.

A bodyguard came to tell Alexander about this guy who wanted to give Oliver some information about his daughter Amelia Oliver. hearing about this guy Alexander got a little curious.

Everyone here even the body guards of Oliver believes Alexander with everything they even tell him everything with no secrecy at all, Alexander told the guard to let that guy in as he wanted to talk to that guy first and the guard let him in and here Alexander was asking that guy, even so he was sitting all calm and he also sounded calm as ever but that young man was still looked so afraid of him, maybe he thought that Alexander was Oliver himself

"So, Where did you've seen her? and how you came to know that she was Amelia Oliver?"

"I-... I saw her and a man near..... an old building and.... and how did I know? um- actually I used to be on the same campus as her and we studied together you can say"

The young man sounded so anxious as he spoke while Alexander just nodded his head. he was deep in thinking until he again started speaking

"And how did you know she is missing?"

"I heard that..... that from somewhere"

Alexander tilted his head as a little chuckle left his lips, he understood that the man standing in front of him didn't want to utter the source of him from behind, at this point Alexander couldn't think of anything, maybe his sister sent him? or maybe he said the truth! no one knows until he'll find out himself

"Fine! stay here until Mister Oliver comes"

"Huh? so, you're not Mister Oliver?"

The guy looked so innocent as he spoke in shock which made Alexander laugh at him as he shook his head

"Do I look that old? Nah I'm not Oliver! Mister Oliver is Amelia's father and I'm shocked how you don't know your friend's father!"

"Um- I know... I just forget I guess"

A smirk appeared on Alexander's lips as he was sure now that this man was lying until now

"How could my sister choose you? anyway, don't tell Oliver anything that you told me, or else you'll not be able to see the light again!"

Alexander mumbled, he didn't expect this from his sister why would she choose an innocent person for this? maybe she wanted to make us believe that he was saying the truth but his innocence just ruined her whole plan

Turning his chair to the other side as his back faces the young man standing there Alexander threatened him in his firm voice, while the man just Nodded instantly looking down as he was about to bow when the door opened and showed an old man who looked at them curiously before stepping inwards

"The meeting was too long I guess! who is he?"

Oliver walked towards his chair as he spoke to Alexander before turning his eyes to the young man who was standing there with his head bowing low.

"He! introduce yourself, young man!"

Alexander spoke without looking back

"Good Noon sir, I'm... I I'm here b... because I had to discuss something with sir, ... I'll I'll go now, thank you so much"

The man spoke in horror while Alexander had a grin on his face he wanted to laugh but didn't want to make Oliver suspicious as he pressed his lips together and his attempt of try not to laugh got accomplished, the man spoke before bowing low as he walked out of the office with his fast pace

"I can't understand this young generation"

Oliver just shook his head as a chuckle left his mouth before he turned his attention back to Alexander who was also smiling, Oliver seemed to be in a very good mood after a long time

"What happened? you seem pretty happy today"

"Yes son I am! the investigator said he'll tell me good news soon"

Another error! Alexander's mind started to brainstorm, was that the reason Amelia and Lucas being missing? did the investigator found something about them? the brainstorming didn't stop and Alexander couldn't do anything sitting here In front of Oliver the most he could is just a simple nod while the old man was feeling delighted

"So?.....they found Amelia?"

"I'm hoping for the best!" ~
