"How do you know him?' I asked Laura who was caressing Gen's face while tears rolled down from the tips of her smile.

'He's my son. Where did you find him?"

"Ask Chuck about that."

She turned around and looked at Chuck. She responded " I was looking for alanine in the town over when I got stuck in a pharmacy in a nice neighborhood. I thought I was done for but then he showed up. He saved me, Laura, he's like us."

When Chuck said that we all looked at him surprised.

'What do you mean?" Laura questioned with a serious tone.

"He was able to do something, something unnatural. That's how he saved me."

"That's not possible he doesn't have a marking."

'I know what I saw you guys, he's not normal."

"What was he able to do?" I asked

" Wind, he was able to conjure it. but that's all I saw."

"But there's already someone like that, there can't be two."

"Ok you guys, I don't know what's happening either all I know os that he also has a blessing."

At that moment the door swung open. "It's here, Blake, Addie, we need you out at the West wall right now!"

Addy and I sat up and ran out of the door. " God I was hoping they'd leave soon." Sydney's voice echoed throughout the hall.

We finally got to the West wall and looked out into the city in front of us. There it was the disgusting goliath slowly walking towards us kicking and tossing any cars that stood in its way. I looked over at Addy with a grin "Well this is going to be fun."
