23 To the fire continent we go

Today I plan on going to the fire continent. I looked at the island in the direction of the fire continent and decided to go to a level 600 one.

Thinking about it I haven't looked at my advancement quest, as always the result was not to good but also not bad.

I need to get a mythical rank skill or higher in order to pass level 700. This is a super difficult quest for anybody except probably me.

I have half a dozen god rank skills, the down side is that I only get half the EXP I would have gotten if I had ranked up right away.

I completed the quest and did level up a couple of times but only to 708.

It's not bad but for killing a empire rank boss I expected more.

I also decided to try and open all the monster cores I got up until now. Because of the new inventory skill I got I don't need to weary about having a full inventory any more.

I got more then 1.000 epic materials and 82 legendary once but the greatest surprise was the mythical rank once, I got 3 of them from the boss monsters.

I also got a ton of unique and epic items but nothing is realy better then the things I have on now.

I got a legendary item from the boss monster but sadly the legendary item is a bow so I can't use it but it's still nice to have.

I got a ton of unique items and materials but I don't realy need them anymore, except herbs and ores to make guns and potions I don't need them.

I finally felt ready to use continental teleportation again and got to the island I had selected.

I went thru the same proses I did yesterday and collected information on everything above the epic rank.

I looked for anything related to the ruler of hell class and as expected I found it. The down side is that the 'ruler of hell's ring', the legacy item is guarded by a continent boss.

A level 780 true devil knight.

A true blooded devil with the knight class, I don't think I can beat him right now.

Of course I can kill him I only need to level up to level 730, then he can be killed with the continental destruction, this skill allows me to select how I want to use it one so it's easy to just only select the monsters that are between me and the 'ruler of hell's ring'.

Leveling up some more is also not to difficult I only need to use space distortion and kill as many monsters as I can with it. I'm on a level 600 to 750 island right now, I bet I can level up to at least level 750 if I go to a monster city or something like that.

The 10X10 km range may seem like a lot but it is only about one tenth of a monster city, at least one at this level (600-700), mostly the higher the level of a monster the bigger they are and the bigger the city is, I don't even want to imagen a dragon city even just a level 500 dragon can be up to 200 meters long.

In some rare cases they have a sort of disguise skill that can help them shrink there size down to human level but most don't realy use it because of there pride.

I went to a high rank devil city, devils are divided in to low, mid, high, peak and true ranks depending on the purity of there blood line. A true devil gets the same benefits as a ancient race but there numbers are so low I dout there are more then 5 on this entire continent, I should know I already scanned half the thing and only found two of them.

By the way both are woman so I don't think there are gone be any new little true devils walking around any time soon.

I reached the city I teleported my self in to a abandoned building and activated the skill.

Nothing I didn't hear a sound but using the god eye skill I can see, huge tears in space appearing and disappearing every time one of these black lines showed them self's at least 10 people died.

I want to go out and get the cores and items but I know that if I show my self now there will be now way to get out of here alive. Even with the instant teleportation skill that has no cool-down I don't think I can out run thousands of blood thirsty high devils.

I guess this is the down side of the space archmage class I don't have a lot of skills and most of them are passive, have long cool-down or are support skills.

I do have a ultimate weapon, my new skill, but I'll leave that for later.

I looked at my level but to great surprise was 731, not bad by any means but even with the 100X EXP to only get this many levels after killing so many high devils is quite a surprise.

It seems that my level has finally cough up with me, to my great disappointment but it makes sense at some point I would be unable to continue leveling the way I have been up until now.

For it to be at level 700+ is already a miracle.

I'm now at the level I have to be to get the 'ruler of hell's ring', I hesitate no longer, I continually used instant teleportation until I was close enough to the volcano were the ring is, I started chanting the spell.

Once I finally finished I felt no different then before, chortle it got to me the silence, like there is not a single living being any were near me, not even the sound of the wind or the hot lava was there.

It gave of the feeling like a great catastrophic is about to happen. This quiet atmosphere was more terrifying then any monster I have hunter in the past.

BOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The earth choke like the ground under my feet wanted to escape whatever was about to happen, a volcano in the distance erupted. Like it was the sine for action countless small black holes appeared all around me before shooting in the the ground, sky... in every direction.

I activated my god eye skill again and as I expected every single one of these black orbs shot at a creature. Once it hit the monsters were absorbed in to them, I could feel the EXP poring in to me but it wasn't as satisfying as usual.

For one simple reason, all the equipment and monster cores were gone. Just like the monsters them self they were absorbed in to the void. This skill and wipe out a city in a mater of seconds but expect EXP i'll get nothing out of it.

That is a exaggeration because the items that aren't on the monster at the moment they are absorbed are still there and I'll make sure to take them but first I'll get the 'ruler of hell's ring'.

I teleported again a couple of times making sure to stop by the houses of any devils that were killed just now and take the loot they had hidden, in most cases it was just some epic materials ore unique items but is a couple or rare cases I got a legendary material or item, but most impotently there were a couple of devils with high rank sub-classes that had tons of blueprints and receipts stored away.

Eventually I got to the ring, it's peacefully flouting above a gold table made of what seems to be wood gold a divine rank material that comes from a extremely rare gold wood tree, no one knows what the requirements are to make a tree like this grow but they seem to have appeared every were in the world, some in the hottest volcanoes, some in cold caves deep under ground, some times in a random village in the middle of no were...

Obviously I'll be taking this one too.
