Hou Yan left and searched for a different cave, one that was deep and big. Fortunately, there was a nearby cave which was located at the peak of a mountain. Luckily, no flying monster built their nest there or else it would've taken him a while to settle in.

Inside the cave, Hou Yan went towards the deepest part of the cave and closed the entrance of a huge boulder he found before. It was pitch dark in there but Hou Yan used his flames and the whole place was lit up. Finding a good place to sit down, Hou Yan placed down a blanket.

Who is stupid enough to sit on the ground for a whole month? Weren't they just seeking pain?

Sitting down on the blanket, Hou Yan put away his flames and took out the pill. Although the whole place went back to being pitch dark, the pill was radiating like a star in the dark space.

When he initially saw the pill, Hou Yan just wanted to know what the pill was and paid no attention to its appearance. But now that he is looking closely at its appearance, he was truly captivated. How could a pill be prettier than any lady he has ever seen?

'Just eat it already you idiot.'

"Ugh, fine. My heart aches when I think about eating such a beautiful pill."

'Just eat the pill.'

Throwing the pill into his mouth, Hou Yan took out the book and immediately received a message from the system.

The first day passed and nothing changed except that his Qi was getting thicker and thicker.

Ten days passed and he broke into the Core Formation realm. When one broke through Core Formation, one would form a core in their dantian but Hou Yan's situation was different. Rather, how big his dantian was immeasurable. Even if his dantian had gotten really big, that didn't mean he achieved the 1st level of Universal Bestowing.

Each level of Universal Bestowing technique creates some kind of a miracle. The first miracle of the first level was that his dantian turned into a universe. One that was empty and had nothing in it. The second miracle occurred on the third level. Stars and planets began to form. Then the third and the last miracle happened on the fifth level. Life would sprout out of those planets.

The second level of Universal Bestowing was about having your Qi fill up your universe. What determined the foundation of your universe wasn't how much Qi you had but rather the purity of it. With Hou Yan's pure Qi, no universe would be able to topple him.

Even though Hou Yan broke into Core Formation realm, he still hasn't achieved the first level of Universal Bestowing. Achieving the first level wasn't as easy as just breaking into the Core Formation realm.

Twenty days later...

Twenty-Five days later...

On the thirtieth day, sudden changes occurred on Hou Yan's dantian. If his dantian was bigger than Jupiter before, now it was infinite times bigger than before. If one dropped a marble inside his dantian, it would never reach the bottom.

This was the first miracle. His dantian turned into a universe. As Hou Yan kept sucking in the Qi around the area, it wasn't able to fill up his dantian, but rather the Qi near the surrounding area became thinner and thinner till it disappeared. He had truly sucked all of the Qi around his cave.

'Yeet... Host has broken through the 1st level of Universal Bestowing Technique.'

Hou Yan released a sigh. How was he going to fill up his dantian? Such a mind-boggling he was facing currently.

"AH!! Hou Yan had finally remembered that he still hadn't used the experiences he gained from the forbidden ground. He was surprised when the system informed him that all of the experience he gained would fill up his bottomless dantian.

All of a sudden, massive amounts of Qi kept filling up Hou Yan's universe. His universe was filling up more and more. After a while, Hou Yan heard the yeety yat yeet of the system.

'Yeet... Host has broken through the 2nd level of Universal Bestowing Technique.'

"YAY! I finally did it!"

Hou Yan could feel an endless amount of Qi inside his body. Is this how Na**to felt when he tamed that 9-tailed fox? Most likely.

Although Hou Yan was a Core Formation lower level, his strength could be compared to those at the Void Shattering lower levels. Who could stop him now? Unless a bunch of void shattering experts ganged up on him. Even then, he could hold on on his own and still manage to escape without any visible injuries.

To test out how much he grew, Hou Yan shot a fist at the wall. Even though it was dark in here, he could now see in the dark. It was as if he had night vision on. Such a cheat.

A huge explosion occurred from just his punch. A huge hole was created on the wall but that wasn't to the degree of the damage. If one looked through that hall, they could see a mountain several kilometers away also had a huge hole. Nevermind a hole, it was as if the middle section of the whole mountain was gone.

"In the span of a month and a couple of weeks, I gained the strength that could rival the peak experts of this world. Then, in the upcoming month, I shall surpass those experts and become the strongest of all. I shall reign as the sovereign of this world and find out the truth of this world."
