10 Training

The sun was shining and the birds were chirping. It was morning and Hou Yan was livelier than ever. Due to having such a strong body, his regenerative properties were also unfathomable. He recovered from the fatigue in a mere overnight.

Today was a big day. Hou Yan had three skills that were about to rank up and they were his three other skills other than Invisibility Arts. For his Sky Dash technique, Hou Yan was going to go to the elemental training ground and infuse wind to his movement art.

The reason why he chose wind over lightning is due to some certain things. Such as, wind attribute was invisible and couldn't be seen which works best with his Invisible Arts.

He was also planning to infuse fire attribute to his Hercule's punch to bring out more power. He might even develop some godly technique that would cause empires to massacre each other for his technique.

Lastly was his body tempering technique. For this technique, he planned on going to the gravity room. With the help of the gravity room, he would try and surpass his limits, which would then result in the rank up of the technique.

Hou Yan was walking towards the training ground with a small bag. The bag looked ordinary but it gave a mystic aura. How could such an ordinary bag give of such a mystic aura? That was because the bag itself was a storage bag. The bag had a different dimension inside it. That dimension was for storing object and one wouldn't feel any heaviness from it. Inside that bag was food that would last Hou Yan for months.

Naturally, in order to infuse an element to your technique, one had to get an understanding of the element and comprehend it. Although comprehending the element would allow you to use it, but the power you output with your element would naturally be weaker than someone who had gained a better a comprehension than you.

When Hou Yan reached the elemental training ground, he was stopped by an elder. After paying enough contribution points to be inside the training ground for a while, Hou Yan proceeded towards the section for fire element. The air around that location was blazing hot. The closer you got to the core of the fire element sect, the hotter it got. Near the core of the location, it was said that a mortal's body would melt and evaporate into thin air in mere seconds.

Hou Yan sat at the outer rim and began to try and comprehend the fire attribute. The more he tried to comprehend it, the hot his body would get. After a while, it felt like his whole body was on fire. Then he directed all that heat towards his fist and it looked as if his fist caught of fire.

Hou Yan began to try and fuse the heat that he gathered at his fist with Hercule's punch. When Hou Yan threw a punch, Instead of the power nonupling (x9), it octodecupled (x18). Just that one punch alone generated a huge shockwave with flames. If one were to see these flames, they would think as if they were looking at heavenly flames.

'Yeet... You have comprehended the fire attribute to its pinnacle.'

'Yeet... You have ranked up your Hercule's punch... Upgraded to Heaven Burning Punch.'

BOOOOOOM!

Hou Yan's punch created a huge explosion, yet it wasn't even able to damage one bit of the flame elemental section.

Hou Yan was shocked. How did he comprehend it to the pinnacle? All he did was sit there and feel the heat from the air. Then Hou Yan assumed it was because of the Dao Of Fire that helped him achieve such a feat and also the system.

Moving on the wind section, Hou Yan could see four humongous tornadoes moving around in the wind section. Hou Yan did the same thing again. Sitting at the outer rim of the section and began to feel the air/wind around him.

All of a sudden Hou Yan stood up. He then began to operate his Sky Dash technique and ran around the outer rim. The more he ran around the outer rim, the faster his steps got. It felt as if Hou Yan was becoming one with the wind.

One dash...

Two dashes...

Three dashes...

After an hour of running around, Hou Yan began to dash in the air. One step at a time. He looked like he was actually flying but all he was doing is using the air as a footstep and jumping higher. Every time he reached the third dash, he would lose his momentum and fall down. It felt as if something was missing.

The outer rim of the wind section couldn't help Hou Yan figure out what was missing, so he got closer to the center. Then he sat down and began to comprehend the wind attribute again.

Here, the wind was violent. Each blow of wind would create a sound louder than the other. It felt as if the wind itself was screaming loudly. The concept of wind was truly arcane. Just trying to comprehend it would be a tough job and trying to understand it was truly a headache-inducing thing, but that wasn't enough to stop Hou Yan.

After hours and hours of comprehension and with the help of the system, Hou Yan was finally able to perfect his comprehension of the wind.

'Yeeeeeeeeeet... You have comprehended the wind attribute to its pinnacle.'

'Yeeeet... You have ranked up your Sky Dash... Upgraded to Heavenly Steps.'

"Yay! I have finally finished such an arduous task!"

As he was heading out, the elder who was guarding the elemental training ground used his power to probe the body of Hou Yan. He couldn't believe such a young fellow was able to generate such a humongous power that caused the entire training ground to shake. Other disciples thought it was an earthquake, but this elder knew it was this fellow who caused it. What kind of Heaven defying technique did he use in there?

Although the elder wanted to ask Hou Yan many questions, he had to refrain from doing so. If only he was a disciple, then he wouldn't have to worry about his rank.

After arriving there, Hou Yan rented out one of the rooms for a whole month.

Entering the room, Hou Yan set the force to 2x using a small formation set up so disciples can change the force at will. This whole month was truly going to turn out like a training session in DBZ.

*TIME SKIP* After a month...

It could be seen in one of the gravity rooms, a young lad could be seen fiercely training his body. From his face, one could see the exhaustion but looking at those sharp eyes, it was full of determination.

This young lad was Hou Yan. After a whole month, Hou Yan was holed up in this one room, training his body and trying to exceed his limits. He barely slept and his food supply was running low. Every time he increased the force, he would consume more food than before. It felt as if the gravity room was turning his stomach into a black hole.

All of a sudden, Hou Yan's skin began shedding. He looked like a Snake shedding out of its skin. The new Hou Yan was as white as snow and his body could compare or even outmatch the gods portrayed in ancient stories.

If his appearance was to be described in one word, it would be devilish!

Heavens, even beauties that could topple empires would feel jealousy that never existed before. Hell, they might even achieve the Dao of Jealousy from just looking at Hou Yan's beauty but Hou Yan doesn't yet realize that how beautiful he looked like but only how glossy and white his skin got. Hell, it looked as if all the melanin in his body disappeared. Didn't this mean that just a bit of a ray from the sun could get him skin cancer?

While Hou Yan was freaking out about getting cancer, he suddenly heard the sound of the system.

"Wait, system. Why does it say 'demonic body'?... Does this mean I am going to turn into a demon slowly as I level this technique up?"
