2 Outer Disciple
On the ground, Hou Yan laid on the ground panting profusely and was drenched in sweat. You could tell from his face that he was out of energy to even blink.
For several days, he hunted monsters and exercised in order to reach the 5th Qi Condensation and increase the level of his body technique. It was a repetitive thing he kept on repeating, kill a rabbit then exercise for a while. The reason why it took several days was due to Hou Yan's inexperience in fighting.

Waking up early in the day, Hou Yan headed to the sect's General Affairs Hall. In the sect, there were multiple halls like the alchemy hall, forging/refining hall, and the disciplinary hall. As it states in its name, the General Affairs Hall handled all of the disciples' general affairs.
After entering the hall, Hou Yan went towards one of the employees of the hall and reported to them.
"Greetings senior disciple, I would like to report my achievement in reaching the 5th level of Qi Condensation. I would like to be promoted from a servant disciple to an outer disciple."
The worker sized up Hou Yan and noticed his unrestrained aura.
"Alright. Let me promote you. Wait for a while."
After half an hour of waiting, Hou Yan received the outfit of an outer disciple and also the location of his new room. Thanking his senior disciple, Hou Yan went to his room. He was finally an outer disciple but he still didn't have enough power to seek revenge against the other outer disciples who thrashed his body.
After a while, Hou Yan headed towards the library. The library had 5 floors and the outer disciples were only allowed to use the first two floors. 3rd floor was for the inner disciples while the 4th floor was for the core disciples. The elders could enter any floor but only the sect master was allowed to enter the 5th floor.
In the first floor, Hou Yan was checking out the martial skills but he was left utterly disappointed. What was he expecting? Divine techniques that could rip the heavens into parts? What a joke.
He proceeded to the second floor, and there, he was a little happy. He found an eye-catching skill. It was called 'Sky Dashing Technique'. That wasn't the only technique he checked out of the library, but also an incomplete technique that was called Hidden Arts.
Back at his room, Hou Yan began to learn both of his techniques.
'Yeet... You have received Sky Dashing Technique and incomplete version of Hidden Arts.'
'Would you like to learn it?'
Hou Yan chose to learn them. The reason why he also picked the incomplete version of Hidden Arts is that he was inspired by a certain MC who was able to level up his skills to a heaven-defying level where powerhouses weren't able to find him.

Hou Yan finally stopped after he repeatedly moved around the servant section for six hours. The servant disciples didn't find out Hou Yan kept on running past them but felt uneasy due to the wind that past by them when Hou Yan used his movement skill.

What was most shocking was his physical body. It had the ability to withstand the blows against Foundation Establishment lower level.
Being Satisfied with his achievements, Hou Yan retired for the day. He planned on gaining his revenge tomorrow.
