8 Leukemia issues

After cleaning up our mess, I was over the edge tired and almost fell asleep on the bench, I was also feeling disgusting. I walked back to my room after Aria left, saying she will be here tomorrow, and I layed down on my bed. A nurse walked in.

"Hey Nurse Chichi!" She smiles and walks up to me.

"Hey Jessie! So today, I'm just gonna go and check your blood sugar, okay?"

"Yeah, of cou-" I get stopped by a wave of nausea. I throw up in my garbage can next to my bed.

"Jessie! Oh honey! What's wrong?"

"I don't know," I respond, still leaning over my trash in case I throw up again, "I just felt a wave of nausea and I was feeling disgusting before, and I'm cold." Nurse Chichi walks over to me and feels my forehead almost flinching.

"Jessie honey! Your burning up!" She runs to get a thermometer as I sit back on the bed, and when she comes back, she reads my temperature and gasps. "Jessie! You have a 102° fever!! Oh my goodness. Okay Jess, so throwing up and a fever is... oh Jess. You have the flu. It's okay hon." I moan. I throw up again.

"Oh gosh, why? I feel so bad." She nods and runs my back. My head starts to throb as I lay down on my bed and fall asleep. The next morning I wake up and wish I didn't. My head throbs and my stomach hurts, and I'm freezing. I grab a blanket and cuddle up in it, and Aria walks into the door.

"Hey Jessie, got you some coffee- Jessie? Are you okay?" I nodded and she gave me my coffee, that I clearly didn't drink, just held it for warmth.

"I have the flu, speaking of it, you should back up." She nods and stands at my door.

"I appreciate the coffee, but I think you should come back later before I puke again." I laugh and she does too.

"Too late." I mutter and I throw up in my garbage can. She runs up to me and runs my back and smiles, and comforts me. I lay back on my bed as my ear starts to hurt bad, I grip it and think, ear infection. I've had multiple, so I know what it's like.

"Ear infection." I whisper and she kisses my cheek, as we cuddle up in bed.
