4 5. And when life gets tough, love someone

Those words shattered me. I have stage 3. I quickly swallow a wave of vomit and tears start to well up in my eye. They freely poor from my face, and I let out one sob, which caught the attention of the doctor. He ran over towards me and asked me if I was okay.

"No!" I croaked, my voice now dry from sobbing. "Stage 3!?" I then began to bawl when my sister walked in and gave me a hug, which put me to sleep, and when I woke up, I was in the ICU because of surgery, and my stomach hurt, but again, just from the surgery. The nurse soon walked in and shoved pills down my throat. Then she gave me this weird liquid and she put it into my tube.

"Honey," she smiled and looked at me, "Dinner is soon, you wanna come?" I shook my head no and asked her if she could take it to me, she nodded and left. I layed in my bed, just thinking about what highschool would be like, when someone walks through the door.

"Here Josh, I got your picture frame you wanted for your room." She took one look at me and gasped. "What happened to you? Your the guy at the elevator right, you look so sick!?" She dropped her bags and ran over towards me and she felt my forehead.

"Hey, Aria, right? Yeah, this is what stage 3 Leukemia does to you. Trust me, my stomach just ate the other part of my stomach that's why I'm in ICU. What are you doing down here?: She sighs, then chuckles.

"Visiting my friend again. Josh Delequin." She smiled hugely and took a seat next to me.

"I know him. He's really nice." She nodded and we both gazed into each other's eyes. Her eyes sparkled, even though their was barley any light in this room. She licked her lips and that made my stomach squeeze. I took a deep breath and leaned into her and she leaned in, our lips just touching. Her lips were soft and had lots of flavor. I moaned as she liked my lips, asking me if she could slip her tongue into my mouth. I slightly opened my mouth and she came in and I came into her. She explored my whole mouth, just tasting me, till the point we both had to pull away to gasp for air. Our foreheads still collided together, we looked into each others eyes and we heard the door open. We quickly swung around and saw a nurse in shock. We quickly apologized.

"Its okay, just not what I expect to see coming into a hospital room with a kid with stage 3 Leukemia. I came here to start Chemotherapy." My smile dropped and my body started shaking. My eyes quickly looked around the room, looking for something to calm me down. Then their was Aria, her hands wrapped around my hips and her chin on my shoulder and she whispered in my ear, "You're okay, right? I'm here I'll stay by your side." I hnads trembled and I quickly nodded, as I hoped onto the bed and squeezed my eyes closed. Aria squeezed my hand as I nodded for the doctor to do it. My eyes shut closed so hard and I felt a pinch in my vein. An IV. Then I felt a tingling sensation in my vein and opened my eyes as a liquid was getting inserted into me. I sighed and Aria smiled at me.

"You can not take your IV out, but I have this connected to an IV pole, so you can go places." I nodded and the nurse left.

"Aria?" I asked scared.

"You did amazing Jessie." She smiled at me and my heart melted.

"Can you always be here by my side? I mean I know we don't knwo each other a lot but we can, and I really want you to be my girlfriend." Aria gasped.

"Yes! Of course Jessie." She leaned into me and kissed me hard, and I kissed her back as she pulled me away.

"Are you aloud to get out of this hospital?"

"I am, only with is IV pole though." I sighed and she laughed.

"I need to go to basketball. Wanna come?"
