Chapter One: Poison

"Damian, plea-" Adrian cried, only for me to smash my lips to his. My body molded to him and he cried out against my lips. Our bodies were slick in sweat, wrapped in silk sheets underneath the moonlight that shown through the open window.

A cool breeze would wisp itself across our naked bodies, the sweet smell it brought would freshen the air that moved around us. A chill would crawl up my spine, but I would turn my back away. I was in control, Adrian moved to me.

Just as the thin curtains moved to the slight shift of current, I'd pull Adrians body up against mine. His back would arch slightly, his shoulders pressing to my chest and his head would rest against my shoulder. I moved my hips forcefully, catching the contorting of his face. The pain my movements brought him.

So instead of easing my movements to his body, I grabbed his hips and pulled him closer. Our bodies rocked against each other, my thrusts began to even, my breath fell against Adrians cheek as I looked down at his body. His groans were only lost in the empty apartment as I watch him touch himself.

A slight smile tugged at my lips, my eyes only catching the light of the moon as I sat us back so he would come to sit on my lap. He froze for a minute, only moving against my hips once again as I brought my hands to feather up his sides.

"Don't stop." I whispered against his shoulder blade, I always enjoyed when he rode me. The way his body moved under my fingertips. When he felt slightly in control. So I snaked my hand around his body, covering his hand that was wrapped around his cock into mine.

"Damian..." he whispered, breathless as I moved my hand with his. His movements started to grow sluggish so I help by bouncing him against my thighs. His head fell back once again as his body shot ribbons of his release onto the sheets. The warmth of his release slicked my palm as I removed the hold I had on him. His body fell back on mine, he looked up at the ceiling, panting. "I can finish-"

"That's fine." I interrupted, "you should go." I said simply and began to remove myself from him. Without bothering for my clothes, I walked towards the bathroom connected to my bedroom. I ignored the shuffling behind me and turned on the faucet to wash the effects of our act off.

My eyes lifted to stare into the mirror as I turned the water off, reaching for a towel. I looked awful. Dark bags had began to form under my eyes, turning their once blue into a deep gray. I tilted my head slightly, running my hand along my jawbone, only to trail my fingers up into my raven hair. It also had lost some of its life. It no longer held its shine.

"Can't I stay tonight..." Adrian asked from the doorway. I hadn't noticed he came to stop there, I honestly thought he would have just left.

"No." I flatlined, catching his eyes in the mirror, I saw them lower slightly like I'd just scolded a dog. My eyes caught the small shed of grief pass through his features before he simply nodded.

"Okay, but what's the problem?" He asked, easing into the bathroom more. He clasped his hands together, wringing his fingers as he awaited my answer.

I turned to face him, I grabbed for the towel that hung from a rack just near the door. Wrapping it around my waist before leaning back against the vanity. I didn't miss the quick glance he took at me undressed before his eyes quickly averted. I let a sigh leave my lips as irritation welled up within, grabbing at the counter on either side of me.

"I can't have anyone seeing you with me." I said, my voice came off a bit too harsh, but I didn't care. It was just a fling, I was curious how he'd be if I acted a bit more open. "The sex was great. Now we're done. So there's no reason for you to still be here."

"That's all you wanted?" Adrian asked, I watched his eyes slowly fall to the floor. He attempted and failed at hiding his disappointment before his blond hair fell over his eyes.

All I could do was agree. "Yes."

Adrian nodded, he backed away from the doorway before he turned back into the dark bedroom. I watched his figure disappear into the room and took a deep breath. That was all I wanted, wasn't it. Still it hurt to see how my words cut him. I can't get into anything more than that with him. Sure, I enjoyed being with another man, but, I've got a lot of expectations hanging over me. My parents would never approve, so that is all this is. I only wanted him for the evening, just for now to numb the pain.

"We will never have anything, Adrian. So stop dreaming." I called out into the bedroom, I pushed myself off the counter and took my first few steps forward into the bedroom. My eyes fell on Adrian as he rushed to get dressed.

Every so often his features would light up from the moonlight, every so often I'd see his flushed cheeks as he held back tears. I walked over the the side of the bed as he tore the sheets from it, looking for something. I reached the edge of the bed and leaned over to grab a shirt that had been haphazardly tossed onto the ground. I stood back up and twirled it in the air catching his eyes.

He bit his lip before he made his way towards me. All I could do was look down at him as he took the shirt from my fingers, his jaw tightened slightly. It set a foreign feeling through my body when he wouldn't meet my eyes. I let it go though as I watched him pull the shirt over his head, completely dressed now as he made his way for the bedroom door in no time at all. He didn't hesitate once.

"I wouldn't want anything more from someone like you anyway." Adrian muttered before he opened the bedroom door to leave. Slamming it behind him and leaving me to stand alone in the dark. I was taken back by his words, only to smile slightly.

"I can get you in my bed whenever I want."
