From that day forth, Lucien focused on the promotional diagrams and the Path to Rank 2, he just sat there trying his best to control the particles, the change in Rank signified being able to manifest the particles within in the outside world, bringing much more power and destruction.
At the start, even with a 100.00 of Soul, Lucien couldn't break even past the 1st door, it just wouldn't budge.
Only after 3 months and 90% control over the particles, did Lucien manage to get past that 1st door.
'It seem my Soul grew way too fast, my control over it is severely lacking, with more control over my powerful Soul, I could control more particles and then use them to breakthrough. It seems 1 year was an estimation that came with control over Soul and Particles, I have neither, seems like breaking through will take some time.'
'I'll focus on Soul control then, I have to be able to utilize every single stat point, before having the chance to breakthrough.'
Over the last less than 3 months, Lucien continued practicing on the promotion diagrams, but instead of trying to breakthrough, he focused on how well he controlled his Soul stats.
It was 1 day, before the forceful teleportation.

Lucien took out his arm and on it, out of nothing appeared the stone with the string.
Putting it on his neck, Lucien smiled.
'Even if he was trying to spy on me, he is in for a surprise.'
'I was never planning to rely on external help to survive, I only have 1 life, I don't plan on gambling it away, if it was really a bad situation, I would just go in the Crimson World.'
Putting away the idle thoughts, Lucien meditated for a bit, and slept nicely, relieving himself from all the pressure and stress that had build up, by all the killing and scheming, even is his constitution was 50 times normal and could go with no sleep for more than a month, it was still a refreshing experience.
The next day he just got out of the tree and waited on a branch for the moment.
He didn't have to wait for long, as all of sudden the world in his vision became dark, as if the day changed to night. The sun was gone and there was no moon. It was complete darkness.
If someone was watching, they would have seen, that all of a sudden Darkness covered Lucien from everywhere and when it dissipated, Lucien was gone.
Once the darkness was gone from his vision, he looked around.
He was already in the imperial throne room, his father sitting on his throne, looking at him curiously, apparently not the least bit surprised that he actually survived.
"Hahah, you seem to have been doing well, my little genius."
Standing up, trying to look as calm as possible, Lucien projected a bit of predatory aura, to reveal he was not just hiding for 1 year.
'For the next part of my plan, I need certain freedom, and showing talent and progress is the best way to have the old man on my side.'
"Yes, I have seen what I needed for now."
"Well, I'm not going to ask you about what you experienced, but tell me son, how strong are you now."
Waving his arm, Henry collected back the stone that was hanging around the neck of his son.
"Very well."
Lucien projected a low Rank 1 aura.
Henry burst out laughing as hard as he could.
"Hahah, the empire produced another monster."
"Incredible, ahahhaha."
"9 year old Rank 1."
"Father, don't expose it, I don't want to deal with troublesome matters, I just want to practice in piece, I had a lot of revelations while I was out."
"If I was to reveal it, my son, there would be war, the Rank 5s of the other empires would go out of seclusion to kill you. You have to potential to reach at least Rank 4, I was 10 when I broke through Rank 1."
'Hmm seems my speed is still not too shocking, I don't have to worry too much about that, I'll be pretty slow with the plan I have in mind, but it's the true way to immortality.'
"I don't want it exposed to my brothers as well, I just want to be left alone in the forbidden area, and those maids you are going to send... nevermind."

Henry was smiling from ear to ear while looking at Lucien.
"Your brother is almost 19 and he got to Rank 1 a bit after you left, you are almost 10 years younger."
The smile on the face of Henry disappeared all of sudden with pressure descending into the room, Lucien was having a hard time standing or breathing, it was pressure on the Soul.
"But I'll make sure that achievement doesn't get into your head, I'll show you what true power looks like."
