35 Start of the Fight

Many people came to the center of the Heaven Phoenix Empire where the arena lies.

The arena was wide that it's like a stadium. The arena is bustling with people because of what they had heard about a fight where their highness is gonna partake in.

Astounding Two Yin Cultivators came and was sitting leisurely atop the stone platform showing their authority.

"I heard that someone is fighting her highness today and it's a man at that." One of the females sitting atop the stone platform said with a sonorous voice. Her eyes are deep blue that contains profound brilliance that can be compared to that of a gemstone.

"Senior Sis Chen Chen why are you so imposing when it comes to her highness." One of the females giggled at her.

Chen Chen glared at her like it can kill people.

"Xiao Rou, watch what you say if you don't want to get hurt." Chen Chen looks at her with cold glared.

"Aye, Senior Sis Chen is really domineering. This humble one here will not say anything that will make Senior angry." Xiao Rou only giggled at her like she was already used to her Senior's temperament.

Seeing Xiao Rou not getting affected by her threat, she can only sigh. "Xiao Rou, Do you know the one our highness is fighting today?" Chen Chen asked Xiao Rou and was expecting something from her. Her eyes contain a cold light that can pierce through anything.

"I don't know anything about that man Highness is fighting today. I only know that it's a man who has some capabilities." Xiao Rou shook her head and look towards the arena where the fight will take place.

Chen Chen nodded and look towards the arena too and was expectant about something. If their highness was the one who will fight, then that means the opponent must be strong, for their highness to take action, this man must be really strong. This thought hit Chen Chen, she was Jiang Fei's rival so she did not want to see her defeated in someone's hand.

Many people came and were talking about many things like the man fighting Jiang Fei today propose the battle and the wager is, that if the man defeated Jiang Fei, their highness, she will have to marry him.

People where expectant at this man who wager that will marry their highness. Some thought that if this man is ugly and has a bad attitude, then they will not let that man marry her.

Chen Chen uses her profound hearing of the 1st Level Martial Saint cultivation base and heard their gossiping. She wore an ugly expression when she heard the gossips of people and killing intent are emitting from her eyes, like she will kill this insolent man for daring to have such a wager at her rival.

A red big bird suddenly appeared above the air and it's half the size of the arena.

Xiao Rou was puzzled when she saw her Senior Sis smiling. She looked towards the bird and a familiar figure. The figure has red straight silky hair, red tight dress that shows her great petite figure, her two big mountains that show her flawless beauty and her calm dazzling beautiful face.

"Senior Sis Jiang!" Xiao Rou suddenly shouted that it surprised Jiang Fei.

Jiang Fei looked at the stone platforms and saw two familiar cultivators.

She smiled and waved her hand:" You're here to watch me Rou'er?" She flies towards Xiao Rou and smiled at the person next to her who was sitting:" Well well well, Isn't this my self proclaimed rival." She giggled while looking at the cold person.

"Jiang Fei! I heard that someone proposes a wager that if you lose, you will have to marry that opponent of yours. Is that true?" Chen Chen glared at Jiang Fei with cold eyes and was waiting for her answer.

Jiang Fei was shocked and said:" Where did you hear that? Well, I will marry after all if I win this fight." She said with a laugh that it shocks Chen Chen and Xiao Rou.

She looked at them and said:" You... You all thought that my opponent will be an old one at that right? You should know that no man in this world can have me but I just found one so I made a wager.

Chen Chen was in utter disbelief. To think that her most respected rival will be the one to take the initiative in wagering, this was truly shocking to her.

Xiao Rou, on the other hand, was puzzled at her senior sis Jiang. She cannot get the gist of what they are talking about but she knows about the marrying thing.

Jiang Fei giggled at the two and said:" Why are you two like? Hehehe" She can't help but giggle at their disbelief visage.

Chen Chen suddenly asked:" Who's the one you're gonna fight today?" She releases her cultivation base of 1st Level Martial Saint and uses her aura to detect someone powerful.

The people below suddenly felt strange. They all look towards the top of the platform and saw their highness on top with two beautiful figures.

The other one was wearing a cold visage while looking at them below. They felt that he looked towards them had just searched the deepest parts of their souls.

All of them looked towards the cute girl who wore a puzzled expression while looking at their highness.

"Hey! That's the Ice Phoenix of the Heaven Phoenix Sect Chen Chen!" Someone suddenly shouted that it surprised the other people who are looking at her cold visage.

They all looked at the top with sparkling eyes because these two were known throughout the Heaven Phoenix Empire. Xiao Rou has the cultivation base of the 4th Level Half-Step Martial Saint while she's only a 17 years old girl. While Chen Chen has the cultivation base of 1st Level Martial Saint and was only at the age of 24 like Jiang Fei.

Chen Chen saw that she doesn't felt anything at all and looked again towards Jiang Fei. "Where's the one you're gonna fighting today." Chen Chen looked at Jiang Fei with cold glares.

Jiang Fei only giggled at her, the point towards the arena and said:" Just looked at that stage okay. You will soon know."

Chen Chen wore an ugly expression. She can only sigh and looked towards the arena expecting something from Jiang Fei's opponent.

Xiao Rou tugged Chen Chen clothes and asked with a puzzled expression:" Senior Sis Chen. Who is the one that Senior Jiang's gonna fighting today?"

Chen Chen only shook her saying "I don't know."

Xiao Rou didn't ask anymore and only looked towards the arena.

Jiang Fei on the other hand slowly descend the arena and was looking up in the sky.

Chen Chen, Xiao Rou suddenly felt a strong aura coming from the sky. They looked towards up in the air and saw the bird the same as Jiang Fei's bird.

Chen Chen squinted her eyes because she must know that this must be her rival's opponent.

Xiao Rou was only looking at the bird with sparkling eyes.

Jiang Fei only smiled and said:" Come down now!" Jiang Fei looked towards the bird with a smile on her face because it seems that she is eager for the fight.

Chen Chen, Xiao Rou and all of the people were waiting for a response. They all looked towards the bird and saw a young man who was about the age of 15 to 16 was standing there half-naked.

His hair was short, he has a smooth oval face and eyes brimming with life. His six pack abs were exuding a faint light because of his whiteness.

Chen Chen, Xiao Rou and all of the people are a shock to see this young man who is so handsome that he might get the woman to go crazy for him.

The young man jumps down and started to slowly float down the arena.

The young man landed and he smiled at Jiang Fei saying:" Don't get easy on me!"
