Eyes chapter 1

I am currently standing in the street between this huge crowd of people. I feel absolutely helpless as I run my hands through my hair.

Each minute passes by my body losses its temper.

Suddenly I feel at ease after I see the face of the person I have been looking this whole 5 minutes. At this moment I realize that my 5 year old sister Clara is the most important thing I have left in my life.

Ever since 2018.My only motive to live was guitar .

Before my dad passed away in 2016 he had gifted me a Guitar in my 12th birthday and that's how I became so interested in guitar.

After Dad's death, mom passed away in a car accident after giving birth to Clara.

So now I live with my grandpa and Clara.

I was standing still with no movement trying to process the feeling of relief

When Clara just hugs me.

I carry her in my arms and kiss her cheeks reassuring her that I haven't gone anywhere She had wrapped her hands behind her neck refusing to face me.

"Clara , who were you with? I was buying some milk".

I ask to which she replies "I met my friend  she told me she will buy me some candies but when she saw her mom ,she ranaway and left me alone. I forgot yhe way back to shop so I asked a sister  and she helped me and I found you".

"Did you thank her"?. "No Liam , I forgot ". she says with a sad tone of her voice .

"No worries we will thank her next time. Okay?" I put her back on the ground..

I decided to buy her some candies but then she pats my hand and her finger points a Girl who is short with a long hair wearing a grey coat and black pants and a light pink scarf wrapped around her neck.

Clara shouts saying something like "LIZZYYYY".

Lizzy? Maybe her name is lizzy?

The girl turns around and face us with a boba in her hand.

She seemed to be around my age but definitely not older.

The first thought that comes in my mind after seeing her face was I bet she is really good with kids.

Just the vibe she give off is a very light.

The second thing I could notice is how her eyes are so bright and sparkly. It felt as she could win against any kind of darkness glow by her lightness.

   She bents down to reach Clara's height and says "Do you want some"?she says lifting her boba tea.

Clara smiles and Lizzy gives her boba to clara while I realize how unnoticed and ignored I just went.

I wonder if she really didnt noticed or just ignored my whole existence .

The urge to get noticed by her was too much so I say " Thankyou for taking care of her when she was lost".

This statement finally caught her attention towards me.

She stands up and I could see a more clearer view of hers.

As earlier said her eyes really has this sensation of warmth.

She smiles and says"your welcome, actually she is really cute".

"Yeah she is my little sister"

I say trying not to be an awkward conversationalist which I have been my whole life.

Lizzy looksat Clara and says " Be careful next time you might not find a  person like me in crowds , Dont get lost ". Clara nods

"alright I gotta go now ,take care of her " she says and then she leaves
