1 THE GIRL FROM THE STARS

A girl walks down to the street holding a rusty ladder with a pair of yellow Wellington boots. On the other hand, she had a jar. Her hair flew with the breeze. She walked up to the highest peak and clambered up on her ladder to reach out to the sky. Then she cluttered into the jar and took out a glimpse of light. Standing on her tippy-toe, she distinctly placed that glimpse of light in the sky. She deliberately touches that glimpse of light. And with her touch, it turned into a million. And there she goes back to the dark woods again. The people called this glimpse of light a Glour. The people began beholding the glour's, they completely forgot about the moon. Meantime, Selene, the goddess of the moon, wanted to eradicate those glours to get back the acclaims she used to get. She schemed on to destroy that little girl. One dark and unnerving night, when the girl returned to the forest, goddess Selene was loitering for her retrieval. 'You tiny little brat, you rewrote my fate, now watch how I rewrite your destiny' smirked, Selene. The little girl persisted quite. Selene releases her hands as a black hole thrives.

You little pest, you are going to forget everything that transpired in your life, wailed Selene. Saying this, she hurled the black hole at the little girl. The little girl fell apart. Selene perished into thin air.

Corra! I have simmered some Soft Tofu Stew, Come and have some before it gets cold. Shouted granny. 'Coming' Corra walked into the kitchen holding a white cat with dark blue eyes towards the tiny brown wooden table were two bowls of soft tofu stew were kept. Corra gradually drank up the stew. Granny was getting ready to go to the woods to pluck some berries for dinner like usual. Granny, Can I please go to the woods instead of you, requested corra. No honey, it is dangerous, replied granny. 'Then what about you, you go to the woods every day, and you come back home safely. Why can't you let me go anywhere alone, now that I am nineteen, I am mature enough to go alone anywhere' shouted corra. I am sorry corra, I can't let you go because you are different from others, sobbed. Granny climbed up to the attic and got a small glass jar and walked near corra. Corra, you are not an ordinary child, you are different from others and I do not know who are except I know what you did, 15 years ago when I still used to go to the forest I saw a little girl lying on the ground as I saw no one there I took you home as my child. All I know is you are no ordinary human.
