1 Prologue

An unknown biological entity has attached itself to a healthy host. David Del Rosario being it's host, (having not known of the parasite's existence) went on with his life after a few months' returning from his Mars expedition. The parasite has latched itself to the host's brain stem, gathering information about human interaction, human emotions and human intellect. Exactly 9 months after the expedition David Del Rosario died from unknown causes.

In the military hospital where Del Rosario's corpse was delivered, the coroner noticed there was something strange about the corpse's brain. In that, there was an unusual growth in its brain stem, that he could only explain as a tumor--until it moved and immediately attacked his face, forcing its way into  eyeballs. Fortunately the coroner's attendants were there to pry the alien being from him and was able to contain it into a sealed container. The coroner was able to survive with just minor bruising on his face.

The head of the military hospital was notified to which the head then called the Center for Disease Control about a delivery to be made to their main office in Atlanta, Georgia for them to better understand and identify the entity that now lay dormant in the sealed container.
