The Return 1

On Sunday morning, Ro dressed in an outfit that she'd normally wear on the weekend, a light plaid button down shirt and a pair of jeans. Alexi then took her down to the kitchens for breakfast. He seemed sullen and quiet to Ro. He barely spoke ten words all through breakfast. After they were finished eating, he returned them to his room. Wordlessly, Ro gathered all her toiletries and the clothes the servants had washed for her and repacked her suitcase. After she zipped it closed, she looked at him.

"Done." She said. His dark eyes stared at it for minute before, Alexi shook himself. He grabbed Ro's wrist and pulled her against his body away from the bag. Then, as before, a black circle appeared on the ground around the suitcase. It filled in black and then the bag was gone. Ro looked up into Alexi's face. His jaw was clenched, and his mouth was tight. He looked angry. Ro shrugged and stepped away from him. She walked out through the open door onto the balcony. "Well, let's go." She said.

Alexi just watched her with his dark eyes. His shoulders were tense, and his hands were in fists at his sides. He didn't want her to go. He had greatly enjoyed this past week and didn't want to go back to the way things were at school, with him hardly talking to her.

His entire body was screaming at him to go to her and pull her back into his room. He desperately wanted to claim her and bury himself inside her and never let her go. He felt anger too, that she was so ready to leave him. He was stronger than her, which meant that she should do what he wanted. But even as he watched her expression turn to confusion, he knew he'd never do that to her. He would never be able to forget the look she'd wear on her face if he forced her. And the knowledge that she would never forgive him for doing it would cause him more pain than letting her go now ever could. He shook his head and stamped down his desires. She would be his soon enough and then he'd never have to let her go again.

Wordlessly, he stormed out onto the balcony and gathered her into his chest. Then he leapt up into the air and flew them to the travelling ground. They landed in the center of the black circle and he performed the magic to take them back to school before he could have anymore second thoughts.

Once more they were in the white room on campus. Ro stepped away from him and opened the door. She began to walk away, and Alexi felt more alone then he ever had before.

"Ro wait." He called. Ro half turned and paused. Alexi quickly walked out of the room and over to her. He held out his hand, palm up like he was expecting something. Ro looked at it in confusion. Seeing that she didn't understand, he said, "My necklace? I assumed you would want to stop wearing it now that you can."

"Oh, right." Ro said, understanding dawning on her face. She reached down and slowly pulled the chain over her head. She dropped the necklace into his waiting hand and smiled at him. He closed his hand around it and it vanished. Alexi smirked at her and suddenly he was kissing her.

His left hand tangled in Ro's hair as it held her head still and his right arm wrapped around her waist pulling her tight against his body. The hand in her hair tightened its grip and pulled causing Ro to gasp in pain. As soon as her mouth was open to him, Alexi's tongue swept inside, plundering. Ro felt her pulse race and desire swarmed into her body as his tongue met hers.

And then it was over. Alexi released her and stepped back. He smirked again at her flushed cheeks and shocked expression. Ro's shock melted to outrage as she recovered from the kiss.

"You promised not to do anything without my permission, and I did not give you permission to kiss me!" She snapped green eyes blazing. Alexi's smirk deepened.

"I promised that as long as you were wearing my gift and now, you're not. I've got to go log us back in now, but I'll see you in class tomorrow." He told her as he walked away. Ro stared after him feeling deeply confused about her reaction to his kiss and angry with him at the same time. After a minute, she realized she was still standing there like an idiot, and she too walked away.
